I’m with my best friend Zey now because we are both doing nothing today so we decided to meet and just bond. We didn’t have time to talk  for a week because she had to finish all the reports she needed at her work.

And because we were both too lazy to go out so we were just here at their house, her parents weren’t here because they had a business meeting so she was left alone here, it’s not that hard for her because she’s used to it.

She commanded their maids to prepare food and sent it to the pool area because we will be going swimming. Zey’s house is too big but Ethan’s house is even bigger.

Zey immediately went down to the pool while I just sat on the side first while my foot was in the water.

“How was your conversation with Ethan the other day?” she asked me.

“Why did you ask? As you can see we were just talking that day. ”

“Haler! You thought I didn’t know what was happening to you and what’s your reason why you didn’t want to go back to the Hernandez house. ”

“You already know my reason why I don’t want to go back there, of course I don’t want Ethan to think that I’m taking advantage of the help he offers.” I said.

“He is the one who offered help and you didn’t ask for it right?” She said,

I took the juice that was on the side and drank, while she in turn went up and got some food.

“How long will you keep in yourself that you are not affected when he is close to you?”

I raised my eyebrow at her. “What do you mean?” I asked her.

“Stop pretending that you don’t know what I am saying because I know that you know it.”

“You think if I know what you’re talking about I will ask you? Psh! ” I promise.

“I know you like Ethan, even if you don’t say it, it’s obvious.”

I could almost swallow the juice I was drinking. “You’re too advanced to think that way, Zey.” I said while laughing.

“I’m your best friend so I know you well. You don’t need to hide from me what you truly feel for Ethan.”

“Okay okay you win. I have feelings for him but I don’t think that he needs to know about it. ” I honestly said.

She sat down next to me. “Why are you saying that?

“I don’t want everything to be complicated anymore Zey, we don’t have the same lifestyle, I’m not the woman who will suit him. And now that we’re talking again, I don’t want to make it a big deal. ” I promise.

“I really can’t understand what’s on your mind, because I feel like he likes you too but he just can’t tell her to you.”

“What you are saying Zey is ambiguous, he told me that he likes me but that’s all. It’s hard to be with Ethan Hernandez. The sheer number of women stumbling upon him. And one more thing, I’m not her type of woman, did you see her ex Darcey, didn’t you? She came from a rich family and she’s gorgeous and sophisticated, ” I said.

“You don’t need to compare yourself to others, we all have different beauties. And he also said that he likes you, right? So it doesn’t make a difference anymore and it doesn’t seem like Ethan is basing on a person’s state of life. ”

“Just let it go. I’m okay with what we are now even though he doesn’t know that I like him, I’m happy with what we have now. ” I exclaimed.

A short time later, a maid approached us and told Zey something. “Just let them in.” I heard my friend’s command.

“Do you have a visitor?” I asked her.

“You’ll see.” she said smiling.

Sometimes I really want to tweak this friend of mine because she doesn’t politely answer when asked. Who did she invite?

“Hey guys!” I heard the greeting of a voice that had just arrived.

“It’s good that you have already arrived, Gian.” Zey replied and when I looked back at what he was referring to, I was devastated to see Ethan with Zey’s cousin.

“We didn’t have anything to do so I went there and Ethan was also free so I invited him. I didn’t know that Agatha was also here. ” Gian replied with a meaningful smile.

I don’t know what to do, I’m still wearing a swimsuit now so I’m even more embarrassed especially since Ethan is here.

Ethan sat down next to me while carrying a can of beer they had taken from the table. “I didn’t know that you were here,” he said.

“Ahnm. Zey and I have been busy and only now have we had the opportunity to meet again. ” I answered her.

“It’s good that I went with Gian and I saw you.”

I bent down so that she wouldn’t see that I was interested in what she said, because maybe my cheeks were already red and he would notice that it was even more embarrassing.

“You’re really crazy.” I said and hit him,

“What? I’m just telling the truth, ” he insisted.

“Whatever, have you eaten already?” I asked him and he shook his head so I walked to the table and took him some food.

“Eat this, don’t say you’re full because I might slap you.” I said jokingly and he took it.

I went back to sitting next to him as he started to eat. Ethan is really handsome at any angle that’s why many women are chasing him.

I’m right in thinking he’s hard to reach, we have different worlds. He was very successful in everything while I had nothing to prove and reach in life.
