True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz)

Chapter 171

Chapter 171

Grace looked at Marry in doubt. The words that came out of her sister's mouth - she wasn't sure why,

but it gave her a strange feeling.

Grace stared at Marry for a while, unable to decipher what her true intentions were.

Marry noticed her suspicion, "I'm really not plotting anything against you. I wish you nothing but

happiness.."

Grace narrowed her eyes. "I don't need your insincere blessing."

"You don't have to be so wary." Marry said, "To be honest, as long as you are not with Simon, I wish

you happiness with anyone else."

That sounded a little more plausible.

She could tell that her sister wasn't faking it.

Marry loves Simon very much. It was evident when they were younger, and all the more so now.

"Although I wish you both well, who knows if you are able to stay together till the very end." Marry

answered grimly, staring straight at her younger sister. "Nevertheless, my blessings are sincere. Heinz

isn't a man who can be controlled easily. I don't know how long you can be happy."

Grace listened to her sister intently.

"My priority is to protect Grandma's garden." Marry said again, "I hope we can work together towards

this goal."

"I will not help you." Grace refused coldly.

"Sure." Marry responded, "If it bodes well with your conscience that Grandma's garden is being torn

down by strangers, feel free to decline my request then."

"Get out," Grace said in a cold voice.

"Okay, I will not bother you any longer." Marry turned to leave.

After Marry left the room, Grace collapsed on the bed. Her long eyelashes trembled slightly as she

leaned against the pillows.

She could feel a migraine coming.

When Heinz returned to the room, he noticed Grace shifting uncomfortably and appeared restless. He

frowned, "I'd only stepped out for a minute and you're already looking a little disturbed. What's wrong?"

"It's nothing." Grace shook her head and looked into his eyes with a wry smile.

"Did Marry come here just now?" Heinz looked at her quietly, "Did she say something awful to upset

you?" Content © copyrighted by NôvelDrama.Org.

Grace was stunned at his question. "Did you see her?"

"Yes." Heinz nodded and sat down on the bed. "Why did she look for you?"

"It's okay." Grace didn't know how to start.

She felt that it was inappropriate for her to talk about her grandmother's garden.

Heinz raised his eyebrows slightly, "Don't tell me that your sister came here to visit you? And nothing

else?"

Grace shook her head, "Can we stop talking about her?"

Heinz's eyes flashed. He nodded, "Okay."

"It gives me a headache just talking about her." Grace replied helplessly.

Heinz smiled and immediately stopped talking about Marry.

After the injection, Grace felt that her energy return.

"Heinz, why do I feel that I'm all better now?"

Heinz's eyes flashed, "That's the power of medicine." "Is the medication that powerful?" Grace

muttered, "I felt as though I'd never gotten sick at all. Maybe just a small flu instead, but that wouldn't

have made my body shut down so suddenly like it did.."

There was a slow glimmer in Heinz's eyes. He glanced at Grace and removed himself from the bed.

"Even if you feel that you have recovered, you ought to complete the rest of course of the medication.

Take these three days off to rest. It'll be troublesome if you get sick again."

"But aren't you busy?" Grace looked at him, "If you're busy, you should go to work."

"I'm a little busy." Heinz said, "I've got a piece of land pending for the approval for demolition."

Grace paused and asked, "Where is this piece of land?" "There's a field of flowers next to a holiday

villa on the high mountains in the Northern City," Heinz said.

Grace suddenly became nervous and her heart was beating wildly.

She got out of bed and ran to Heinz. She raised her head and asked, "Heinz, what do you want to do

with that garden?"

Hearing this, Heinz lowered his head and looked into her eyes. "You look very nervous. What does that

piece of land have to do with you?"

Grace looked away guiltily.

She didn't want to help Marry, but she couldn't bear the thought of her grandmother's garden being torn

down.

"Oh?" Heinz seemed to recall something, "If I remember correctly, the land is registered under Sunny

Group."

"Yes, that's right. Could you not tear that garden down? It belonged to my grandmother when was still

alive. She used to grow a lot of flowers there, and it used to be our favorite place," Grace said with

longing in her eyes. "I'd always wanted to go back to that time, when everything was still so beautiful

and innocent."

When Grandma was still alive, and when everyone was so happy. Before everything just went downhill.

After a moment of silence, Heinz smiled faintly. "What do I get by helping you keep that piece of land?"

Grace was stunned. She opened her eyes wide and stared at him. "What do you want?"

He smiled slightly, not saying another word. He kept his his deep and passionate eyes locked onto

hers.

Grace's heart started beating wildly.

All of a sudden, his slender fingers stretched out and he placed his index finger gently on her chest.

Grace looked up, her eyes meeting his gentle eyes.

"This." He pointed at her heart. His eyes were deep, his message crystal clear. "I want this."

Her heart beat even faster and it felt like it was going to explode.

Her lips parted slightly but no words came out of them.

He withdrew his finger and squeezed her arm. "Let's see your performance tonight."

She flushed immediately. "If my performance is good, are you going to refrain from touching that piece

of land?"

A smile appeared on the corner of his mouth. He nodded and said, "Yes."

Grace jumped forward excitedly and hugged Heinz. She tiptoed and kissed Heinz on his chin. "Heinz,

thank you for being so nice. I'll give you my best performance."

His eyes were lit with a knowing hunger, his husky voice started in an even lower register, "I'm looking

forward to tonight."

Her face was even redder. The man leaned over and blew softly at her ear. The warm minty breath

sent goosebumps through her body, her mind in a daze.

"Heinz." she muttered softly.

"Be a good girl and wait for me. I'll take care of some business, and I'll accompany you tonight." he

responded.

"Well, okay." She lowered her head. She still couldn't believe that he agreed to her reguest.

Heinz patted her head gently, "Then I'm leaving now. Later Lester will send some food over for you,

okay?"

"Okay."

Heinz gathered his belongings and left the room.

He entered the elevator, and went to the first floor. The elevator opened, and a woman stepped in. It

was Marry.

She looked at Heinz and smiled. "Mr. Jones."

Heinz didn't even blink his eyes. He just said coldly, "Mrs. Brown, you really are deceptive. If you

wanted to take back the development rights to that garden, you can just ask me directly. Why do you

have to tell Grace about it?" "Ah, it seems that my sister has already told you about it.” Marry smiled

softly, "You see, at the end of the day, my sister is still a Smith. Therefore she will always put the Smith

family first regardless, and that includes putting Simon first too. And that garden especially, since it has

a lot to do with Simon."
