True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz)

Chapter 2250

Chapter 2250

When Kendrix heard Sylvia's words, he raised his eyebrows and looked at her with a faint smile. He asked, "What do you mean?"

He did not want to admit it.

Sylvia's eyes widened. "What do you mean when you told Claudia to take her time to do the laundry?"

At the same time, Sylvia realised that her question was a little too straightforward. How could Kendrix not understand?

He clearly understood her question, but he was playing reverse psychology instead. Sylvia was sure that he did it on purpose.

Did it mean that he wanted to spend more time alone with her?

Sylvia looked at Kendrix and muttered to herself.

That must be it! Otherwise, how could an arrogant person like him do such a thing?

Sylvia was delighted at that thought.

It turned out that he wanted to spend some time alone with her!

Sylvia's lips parted in an instant, revealing her pearly white teeth. She said to Kendrix coquettishly, "Oh, Mr. Trevino, does it mean you want to spend some time alone with me?"

Kendrix smiled slightly and moved a little closer to her. A dangerous aura emanated from his body.

Sylvia's face immediately turned red as Kendrix slowly moved towards her. She sensed his intimidation.

Her body immediately tensed. She wanted to run away from it, but she was also looking forward to what potentially might happen.

Kendrix could tell that Sylvia was a little shy, yet she was also looking forward to what was about to happen.

Kendrix was still rational. After all, it was Claudia's apartment. He was a relatively selfish and overbearing in this respect. Even if he wanted to make a move, he would not do it somebody else's house.

Even if Claudia gave them space, he would not act rashly, unless they were in a completely safe space.

Kendrix just lowered his head to look at the shy girl in front of him. All kinds of emotions flashed through his eyes. He looked at Sylvia and slowly closed his eyes.

However, he didn't do anything further.

Sylvia was anticipating his kiss. She thought he would make a move, but he did not.

She was nervous and excited to find out what he would do at the same time.

However, when she realised that Kendrix was not going to do anything, she became even more embarrassed.

She was looking forward to his next move and felt deeply ashamed of her expectations.

She thought that Kendrix would lower his head and kiss her.

Yet, no, it did not happen!

Sylvia shook her head subconsciously, feeling extremely embarrassed for her own anticipation.

Kendrix was stunned when he saw Sylvia shaking her head. He narrowed his eyes and asked in a hoarse voice, "Why are you shaking your head?"

His voice was so low and hoarse that it made Sylvia tremble a little. It gave her goosebumps.

She subconsciously raised her head and looked into Kendrix's deep eyes, her heart still pounding for him.

She was stunned.

Sylvia was very beautiful. She was like your typical girl next door, with bright and beautiful eyes. Her hair was long and wavy. Her skin was white as snow and she had a rosy complexion.

However, the Sylvia in front of Kendrix was shy and timid then. She was acting a little coquettish as well, like a little girl. Any man would be attracted to her.

Kendrix was deeply attracted to her, even his pupils contracted suddenly. He was about to reach out his hand, but in the end he still stopped himself. Sylvia pouted and said, "No reason."

She shook her head again and said, "Really, it's nothing."

Kendrix did not believe her. He wondered what was going on inside her head.

"I think I'm going to help Claudia with her laundry." Sylvia felt that it was a lot of pressure for her to be alone with Kendrix.

Therefore, she decided it was best if she went to look for Claudia before anything would happen, lest she get teased by her again later on.

Just as Sylvia was about to stand up, Kendrix reached out and grabbed her wrist.

She was scared stiff and turned to look at Kendrix.

"Do you know how to do laundry?" Kendrix asked.

Stunned, Sylvia pursed her lips and said, "Do you really think that I'm that useless?"

"No, of course not. It's just that you were born with a silver spoon in your mouth," Kendrix said.

"This sounds sarcastic," Sylvia muttered, "Are you looking down on me?"

Sylvia sounded very hurt. Kendrix was stunned when he heard the tone of her voice. Only then did he realize that what he had just said might have hurt her.

His gaze softened all of a sudden. He held Sylvia's wrist and said softly, "No, I'm not. For the record, you look very adorable when you're sad." "Adorable?" Sylvia could not believe it. How was it possible that she still looked cute when she was sad?

"Yes." Kendrix nodded seriously.

Sylvia studied Kendrix's gaze for a moment and found that there was no contempt.Content held by NôvelDrama.Org.

She asked again with a little uncertainty, "Really? Do you not despise me at all?"

"No, I don't." Eason shook his head, his gaze calm and still.

Only then did Sylvia relax.

She looked at Kendrix's hand that was holding her wrist. There were some mixed emotions in her eyes.

Kendrix was staring at her as well, as she looked down at his hand on her wrist.

His slender hand slowly slid down to hold her hands. He clenched it tightly and intertwined his fingers with hers, they were really intimate then. Sylvia raised her head in a daze and met Kendrix's deep gaze. After a moment of hesitation, she said seriously, "Yes, I know how to do laundry. In fact, I do my own laundry."

Kendrix smiled and said, "That's good."

"Your answer makes me feel that you are being very perfunctory to me, but I really do know how to do laundry. In fact, I know how to do a lot of things. I'm not a good-for-nothing."

"Are you referring to the fruits incident earlier?" Kendrix did not expect that Sylvia would care about it so much.

Sylvia nodded her head seriously and said. "Yes, I was a little offended."

"Well, I'm sorry," Kendrix said sincerely. He felt that if he did not apologize, he would never hear the end of it.

He saw the seriousness in her eyes.

He also knew that girls were more sensitive at times.

"I accept your apology." Sylvia was a

little surprised at first when she heard his apology. Then she smiled brightly and said coyly, "You can't despise me. Although I admit that I have a lot of things I can't do, I will stifftry my best to learn."

She was afraid that Kendrix would not believe her, so she looked at him seriously.

Kendrix suddenly felt a little distressed.

Sylvia was so adorable.

For a person who grew up in a well-to-do family, it was indeed very rare to find a person who was willing to take the initiative to learn the things that she had never experienced before.

Kendrix nodded seriously, held Sylvia's hand tightly, and said softly, "I believe you will excel in everything you do."

Sylvia's smile grew even wider.

Kendrix's heart tightened and wrenched a little when he saw her bright and pure smile.

He shook his head. "Sylvia, you don't have to change yourself too much just because of me."

Kendrix knew that it would be very tough on Sylvia if she deliberately changed her character and habits to accommodate him.

He did not want Sylvia to change just because she liked him. That would be too tiring for her.

"Don't you want me to learn all these

things?" Sylvia's smile froze on her face. She frowned and looked at Kendrix Kesitantly. "There a some basic life skills that I indeed have yet to learn to do. For example, I do not know how to cook. I've basically never stepped into a kitchen before."

"You don't need to cook. I can do that," Kendrix said as he held her soft hand. He felt that such a delicate hand did not belong in the kitchen, lest it

gets rough and greasy.

Sylvia was stunned once again.

Looking at Kendrix's serious expression, she felt as if something had struck her heart.

It was very soft.

Was that his way of showing affection?

When Sylvia saw Kendrix's serious expression, she lowered her head in embarrassment. Then, she said in a low voice, "Thank you, but I still think that I should at least know how

cook simple foods. I really wante

learn, and I will be persistent about it. My mother told me that knowing how to do something and whether it will turn out good are two different things. I mean, I can learn how to cook, but I may not necessarily cook. At least I can cook, and that's

a lot better."

Kendrix lowered his head and looked at Sylvia's nervous yet serious face, which was already reddened. He was stunned at first, then a smile

appeared on his lips. "Your mother is right. I can't refute it."

"Does it mean that you'll let me learn how to cook?" Sylvia looked at the man who was holding her hand.

Kendrix looked down at Sylvia and said, "I just think it's a waste for such a delicate pair of hands to do these rough things."

"

"Ah?" Sylvia's eyes widened. When she saw the look in Kendrix's eyes, she started to blush furiously. "Mr. Trevino, you know..."

Sylvia was trying to think of a right word, but she could not find the exact word.

"That I know to treasure a woman?" Kendrix asked.

"Ah! That's right!" Sylvia immediately nodded her head firmly. She felt that Kendrix knew exactly how to treasure her.
