Chapter 2270
Chapter 2270
It was very galling to hear her calling him little boy.
Sebastian did not like to hear those words at all, but she seemed to have been uttering them intentionally.
Every time she mentioned it, she would emphasize the pronunciation of those words.
"Stop calling me by those two words!" Sebastian gnarled, gnashing his teeth in wrath.
Claudia was astonished briefly, and some words popped up in her mind suddenly. "The prick isn't little!"
That was what Sebastian had said the last time.
Claudia flushed, feeling that he was comical, and that his words often made people speechless.
After calming herself down a little, Claudia said, "I remember what you said, Little Jones."
"The word 'little' is strictly forbidden," Sebastian replied gravely.
"Oh, can I not say the word 'little'? So, are 'small' and 'tiny' allowed? Do you mean they are not allowed either?" Claudia mustered her courage and sized him up. She even darted a leer at the zipper of his pants purposely.
The look in her eyes was like that of a female pervert, with a bit of lechery.
Sebastian felt as if he had been teased, but rather with her gaze than physically.
He knitted his brow. "Yes, the same also goes to those two words."
Claudia gave a shrug while finding it laughable, and she broke into a real laughter. "How much does it vex you to hear people commenting that you're small? It's been said that the more you care about something, the more you lack it. Haven't you head of this?"
"You're a woman." Sebastian reminded her, "Don't keep saying those vulgar words."
"I really don't think there is any vulgarity in them. They are just some normal words in my eyes." Claudia rejoined.
"Do you dare to say that your mind hadn't been filled with dirty thoughts just now?" Sebastian riposted.
"Just now, my mind had truly not been filled with dirty thoughts, but I did take a look at something." As Claudia spoke, her eyes fell on the zipper of his pants, and were fixed on there.
Her burning gaze had caused his face to redden.
What followed were his darkened expression and his angry yell, "Where are you looking at?"
"It's your little thing!" Claudia admitted it frankly as she felt that there was nothing to hide. "I would like to see if it's really lack of size since you care about it so much. If that's the case, we can still make up for it because you're still young."
Gasping, Sebastian thought that she was really annoying!
He was about to speak something when he was interrupted by Claudia. "Let me remind you of something. I am not a woman yet either. I'm just a pure girl. Don't always call me a woman."
Hearing that, a pucker appeared between Sebastian's eyebrows as he sneered, "A pure girl? I bet it's due to the fact that no one is interested in you." "Wrong! There are a bunch of people liking me," Claudia said confidently, "There are at least a few dozens of them, so you don't have to think that I'm an unpopular girl. To be honest, you were really lucky before this to catch my fancy, but it turned out that you disliked me. Then forget it, I'm not the kind of person to pester others. Therefore, let's make it clear now, and mind your manners in the future."
Sebastian still found it it irksome to hear what she said. "Are you that popular?" "It's my own business whether I'm popular or not. I'm afraid it's none of your concern."
"Yes, it's none of my concern. I don't care about your business either."
"Of course, you're nobody to me," Claudia said indifferently, "Needless to say, you don't have the rights to meddle in my business."
Did he not have the rights to meddle in her business?
Sebastian frowned again. He lowered his head, and there was a hint of sharpness in his eyes.
A moment of silence had set in.
Suddenly, neither of them spoke.
Claudia threw a glance at Sebastian, who had fallen silent. "Do you have nothing more to say?"
Sebastian lifted her head and looked into her eyes. "Why are you talking so much nonsense?"
"Well, isn't this the fundamental courtesy?" Claudia did not go bananas. Exiting the dessert shop with him, she strode forward. "Hail a taxi," Sebastian instructed in a low voice.
"Why do I need to do that?" Claudia asked him back. "I came here by walking. I can't just take a taxi because of your appearance." "I'll pay for it," Sebastian said again.
She did not even want to take a taxi. It seemed that she indeed intended to waste more time.
"It isn't about the money." Claudia replied, "It's about whether I need it or not. like to walk along the road, and it isn't too far away. There's no need to take a taxi."
"Just freaking go and hail a taxi." Sebastian had lost his patience completely. He urged her in a deep tone.
"If you really want to take a taxi, I
won't stop y
streets were crowded
on the cars nearby.
Her attitude seemed to have demonstrated her wish for Sebastian to take a taxi on his own, while she would be walking on foot.
How could Sebastian not see through her thoughts?
"Do you think we could waste more time without a taxi, and by walking?"
"It really can waste quite a lot of time." The moment Claudia blurted out, she felt little annoyed and regretted telling the truth unknowingly.
When she gazed at Sebastian again, there was a faint smile on his lips, as though he was mocking at her foolishness. Claudia could not help feeling a little remorseful
She snorted. "Whether I walk or take a taxi, it's all my own freedom. I should have the right to choose it, shouldn't I?"
"That's very virtuous of you." Sebastian beamed at her sardonically. "You've done so much for the sake of my sister."
"It's still all right," Claudia said, "I've to be faithful towards my friend."
"My sister is underage." Sebastian reminded her, "If anything really happened to her, I'm afraid you can't afford to bear the responsibility."
He had made it pretty clear, believing that Claudia could understand him.
Claudia replied calmly to him as well, "You can be rest assured that I can absolutely bear the responsibility for it. If anything happens to your sister at my place, I'll atone for it with my life. Is that all right?"
Sebastian furrowed his brow hard.
Claudia said, "Feel free to take a taxi if you want to. I prefer to walk on foot."
Sebastian gritted his teeth. She just wanted to walk on foot, and he was carrying so many things in his hands.
It seemed that she had regarded him as her attendant and just wanted to order him around.
"Fine, I'll walk then." Sebastian nodded.
They had only taken a few steps before Claudia's phone rang.
She took a gander at her phone and said to Sebastian, "It's your sister. Little Jones, may I pick it up?"
"I've told you not to call me by that word."
"You're wrong. It should be 'those two words'." Claudia corrected him.
"Answer the call." Sebastian could not bother himself with her anymore.Published by Nôv'elD/rama.Org.
