Chapter 186 It Was Their Wedding Night

Kara frowned and felt angrier about James' mean words.

"James, that's enough!"

"How dare you get married to me and go out with another guy! You are the one who needs to be

cautious!" James looked at Kara and replied in a satiric tone.

When Kara clenched her fists and was about to retort, she suddenly remembered what Arya had once

said.

One hated his love to treat another man differently.

Instantly, Kara calmed down.

Once getting angry, James was expressionless. But one would feel his anger when looking at his

brown cold eyes.

"James, are you jealous?"

Upon hearing the words, James was stunned. He suddenly turned around and looked at Kara

arrogantly.

Seeing James being awkward, Kara knew the answer. She ran to him with a big smile and jumped to

poke his expressionless face.

"James, you are jealous!"

James got worried about Kara when she was jumping up and down. He extended his arms in case she

fell, but he still showed no feeling.

"Don't change the subject!"

Kara glanced at him, puffing out her cheeks. She blinked and James finally became less angry.

"James, Donald is my senior. He has helped me several times before. He seemed to be in a bad mood

when I was phoning him. I was worried about him so I've unconsciously written his name on the paper.

I don't hold that kind of feeling for him."

"Why should he call you when he's in a bad mood? Don't you have any wiser excuse?" James

sneered.

Kara was irritated and gritted her teeth though she found that James could be so childish.

"James, let's see this from another perspective. For example, will you get worried about Will if his wife

She tried to walk him through the situation that Donald was just a friend to her like Will to him.

"How does it have to do with me?"

Kara took a deep breath and gave up to persuade him by examples. How could she be so stupid!

She could not achieve her goal with that.

"James, it's not embarrassing to be jealous. Why can't you just admit it?"

James couldn't retort.

James's ears slowly turned red. Kara snorted with her chin up and ran away.

When he wanted to reach out and grab her, she had gone.

Once Kara returned to the room, she locked the door and patted her heart that was beating wildly.

Arya had told Kara before that if James felt jealous it would mean that he was into her.

Kara pondered, 'If James did not marry me for disguise, should I be brave to show my affection?

Should I give it a shot?'

Taking the pajamas, she went to shower. She noticed that Libby had changed the shower gel. The new

one had a different fragrance.

It smelt of roses.

She sniffed and felt uncomfortable for it smelt too strong, her nose wrinkling.

But she couldn't ask Libby to change the shower gel as she had taken off her clothes. Therefore, she

used it anyway.

The smell of roses lingered on her body after the shower. Though it covered the bitter smell of

medicine, she felt uncomfortable.

When drying her hair, she found that her hair was getting longer. It was time to get her hair cut.

She suddenly felt a little thirsty and turned to pour a cup of water.

She picked up the cup and was about to drink it after trying its temperature.

She heard a crack.

She turned around and was surprised to see James standing by the door.

He was in a black bathrobe with a belt loosely around his waist and his chest was exposed.

He walked to her in a few steps. Then he took away the cup in her hand and drank half of it in one gulp.

James had acted a little abnormally tonight.

He was so sexy!

Kara's mind went blank as she stood there, stunned.

Kara shook her head to collect herself.

"James, Donald and I are just friends. I don't have feelings towards him."

"I don't want to hear things about another man!"

James frowned and got angry as Kara talked about Donald again.

Kara was irritated and pushed him away with a pout on her face.

"If you can be angry, why can't I? You are too overbearing!"

James was too bossy and got a double standard.

"Yeah, and what can you do to me?"

James covered Kara's head with the towel and he tried to dry her hair.

He frowned as he smelled the strong fragrance of roses from her. He disliked any strong scent.

Only when Kara saw him frown did she recall that James loathed any strong smell.

It occurred to Kara that she could use it to play a trick on him. She mischievously rubbed his body and

hugged him tightly.

"Don't you think the fragrance of roses smells great? Libby just changed the shower gel."

James knew it was Kara's prank. When her head popped out from the towel, he would cover it again

with the towel to keep a distance from her.

"Why did you push me away? Do you dislike me?"

When Kara saw that he was dodging, she secretly laughed but pulled a long face in front of him.

James raised his eyebrow and then bent down to look her in her eyes smilingly.

"Do you know why the smell of the shower gel is so strong?"

Kara was almost tempted by James. She gritted her teeth and secretly pinched her palm to calm

herself down.

Hearing his question, she scratched the back of her head and thought about it seriously.

"Is it because it is very expensive?"

"Of course, it's very expensive."

How could the rose essential oil not be expensive?

Libby couldn't get such expensive rose essential oil in the supermarket. The only one who knew that

they got married was Nolan. It must be a gift from him to express his congratulations. It was typical of

him.

"Kara, what are you feeling now?"

Kara widened her eyes and looked at him. To tell the truth, she felt very hot at this moment.
