Uncontrollable Fondness

Chapter 19 A Woman of Loose Morals

Chapter 19 A Woman of Loose Morals

“No, please don't!”

A woman's voice in fear suddenly came to his ears, and William’s whole body was trembling reflexively,

“Sophia!” That clearly was not Sophia’s voice. It was a woman looking exactly like Sophia.

He turned and stared at the door in front of him. The voice came from inside.

“Ah... Let me go!”

The door wasn’t closed tightly, and there were a few men standing straight at the door. Without thinking

too much, William turned and ran towards them. He kicked the man at the door, and before they could

reach for their guns, he quickly stepped inside the room and pushed a man in a large flowered shirt off

the bed.

“Don't move!” He aimed the black pistol at the man. The men outside didn’t dare to step any further.

Mia was lying on the bed in tears, she couldn’t move and seemed extremely weak. William looked

angrily at her. She was really innocent.

He took the bedsheet but not for the girl to cover her body. He gave it to the men in doorway to cover

their eyes, “Don't take off the sheets, or your boss will die!"

The quilt fell down, and the man in the shirt turned his head. There was a long scar on his playboy

face. He immediately recognized William Brown and shouted, “You've gone too far.”

Of course, William also knew this man, people in his control called him Costar. He was a small

entrepreneur in this city, his name was Peter Costar. Looking from outside, he had a small business,

but the things underneath were different. He opened a casino, smuggled drugs, guns and ammunition.

He did all the thing which could make high profit. On this land his power under the shadows was almost

equal to William’s.

Although they two were in a competitive relationship, they never fell out with each other. But they finally

met each other.

William kicked him away angrily and the man fall down. Then he took off his suit and covered Mia’s

body and said, “Sorry, this woman is mine!”

“You fucking...” Peter Costar looked at the woman on the other side on the bed but hasn’t finished his

phrase. Opposite of him, William pushed the loaded gun with no emotions and said in a cold voice,

“Are you sure you wanna check whose gun is faster?”

His men were standing not far away. Knowing this, Costar felt more confident. Suddenly he hurled a

thick floor coat rack and threw it over, hitting William. Obviously, he was more into the fight than his

useless men. With a few groans, while William was kicking the coat rack back to Costar. In a second, a

click...

“Ah…”

It was one of the men who fell down, and gurgling blood rolled from his leg.

Undoubtedly it happened because of the strongest provocation. What William did was even more

embarrassing than the direct fight with Peter Costar. Sure, there were two enemies against him, two

hearts against his, but he wasn’t such a man! Costar was completely crazy. His eyes were red and

wanted to find a more powerful weapon. Outside, his men said in a hurry, “Boss, bad news, bad

news…The police are here!” Content © NôvelDrama.Org 2024.

It's not a good thing to be seen by someone with a gun or a knife in his hands. For Costar it will be the

end of his career and reputation.

“Hm…” He twisted his mouth and shot an angry look; he was finally pulled away by one of his men.

William picked up Mia and didn’t stay any longer.

Fighting and killing wasn’t something new for William, he got used to this sort of things long ago. Mia

met him for the first time, she couldn’t move, her body was trembling. She closed her eyes, didn’t even

dare to look at William.

He... turned out to be...

The thought of him holding a black lacquered pistol made her body tremble even more, and the whole

world was shattered.

If only she could, she would struggle to run away.

William did not leave but turned back to his room and left her on the bed. Threw, oh yes, he threw her

on the bed with disdain, treating her like a dirty garbage.

Mia shook her lips frantically. She knew she owed him a thank you, but because she had just

experienced the danger, she couldn't say anything.

“Are you a woman of loose morals? Really cheap!”

The black eyes suddenly opened, and she looked at William in disbelief, “What...”

“Isn't it?” William snorted, looking at her as at dirt, “Just got out of my bed and couldn't wait to throw

yourself into someone else's arms?”

What's wrong with women now?

Mia couldn’t accept such words; she shook her head helplessly and wanted to explain. William just said

general “Oh”. She thought he understood her situation and she would hear something from him, but

instead she heard even more hurtful words, “How much did he give you?”

After a series of insults, Mia felt that she had been drenched in shit, and her body was smelly and dirty

all over. She could no longer catch his eyes. The man in front of her didn’t look at her, but also insulted

her with the last words. It was too much.

After closing her eyes, she burst into flames and said angrily, “This is my business. It has nothing to do

with you. What else can I say!” There was really nothing to say about the woman he had treated like

this.

“Damn it!” William gritted his teeth and scolded swearing. He saw Mia didn’t want to speak to him, and

her disrespect made him even more angry.

What a man he was! Mia felt that she had just entered into the cage with a tiger. The man in front of her

was even more arrogant and domineering than the man in the flowered shirt just now.

Unbelievable! Is there anyone more perverted than him? Why has she always met such hateful men!

She could only scold, “You’re a rogue, monster! Get out of my way!”

William was in a good mood, his bad temper was gone, and he opened his lips saying, “I am not a

rogue, nor a monster. And you won’t get rid of me. In the future, remember to call me William Brown.”

Mia gritted his teeth and could only scold silently.

What did she owe this man in her previous life? Why was he following her?

Waking up again, Mia was still lying on the bed, the sun was shining. It should be in the morning. She

stretched her body, and a piece of paper slipped from her fingers.

She reached out and picked it up.

The word “check” quickly awakened her mind and she sat up.

She... last night...

The pictures from last night appeared in front of her eyes. Her mind was flashing a man's handsome

face, his scornful eyes. Why...Why she fell into that man's arms again?

Man, that man said his name was William Brown.

Holding the body tightly, she shivered like a fallen leaf in the autumn wind.

She bit the lip, but the tears didn’t slide down.
