Chapter 5 Be Sold (5)

She crouched on the ground and cradled herself for a long time.

In the end, her eyes fell on those nightgowns.

Everything was so revealing, she had no choice.

Well, when the boss comes, she will tell him she doesn’t want to do it.

Then let it be. And losing her virginity…Let it be.

Her tears started rolling down again, even she said she wouldn’t think of it…But after all, it was her first

time, how can she stop crying?

Mia took for her favorite blue nightgown and walked into the bathroom.

She couldn’t stop trembling as she looked at the bruises all over her body.

The tears rolled on and on and on, and finally she crouched down and cried.

She froze when someone knocked the door. Then there was silence again.

Mia stood up and weakly walked out of the bathroom.

Her head was dizzy, and when she came out, she felt an air-conditioner blowing here and there. She

began sneezing again and again, obviously having a cold.

Her eyelids were too heavy. She didn’t know if it was because of crying or being tired.

There was some food on the table, but Mia had no appetite and fell directly on the bed.

Her body was so weak that she was shivering with cold.

Mia didn’t know how much time passed since she’d fall asleep bur finally, she was awakened by a

blinding light.

After she saw a minor long figure, she started shaking and tried to hide in her bed.

The man’s back was tall and straight, he wasn’t short and didn’t have a fat belly she’d imaged before.

But he was so cold that she kept getting goosebumps.

A sneeze was too sudden. Mia’s tears and snot were everywhere, she hurriedly reached for the tissues

to wipe her face.

The man turned around, revealing a face that was even more handsome than popstars had.

When he glanced at her, his indifferent look changed.

His veins were bursting, and the teeth started chattering as he looked at her.

He came forward, picked her up easily, and stared at her barely covered body.

"So, you've done a lot of work to pull this off?", he hummed coldly, and, in his eyes, she could see just

mockery and scorn.

He pinched Mia’s hands, her face was too pale, and her teeth were chattering with fear.

Her dark-jeweled eyes looked at the angry man and she asked in a weak voice, "What work... What did

I do...!"

Goosebumps covered her body again, and suddenly he threw her to the bed.

His body slammed hard against the solid wooden headboard, almost cracking.

Looking back, she saw her sky-blue nightgown, which was already hanging on William’s fingers.

He flicked gently, humming in disdain, "Are you worth it?!”

Mia didn’t understand what he was talking about, instinctively searching for something to cover her

body.

Fortunately, there was a thin quilt at the end of the bed, and she crawled over to cover herself.

But his hand was faster than her and he pulled away the quilt quickly.

Her body, under the extremely low temperature of the air conditioning, was covered with red

goosebumps, and she was shaking.

William felt like he was watching a monkey show, he was staring at her with sarcastic satisfaction.

A merciless remark came out of his mouth, “Since you’re sold to me, is it still necessary to dress up?”

Sold…She was sold?

Yeah, she should make it clear.

Mia’s red lips fluttered, and she tried to explain, "Mister, I’m sorry. I’m so sorry…”
