Chapter 615
Hera put her phone away and said goodbye to Randy. The moment she exited the hospital doors, a group of reporters swarmed around her. "Dr. Shadow, what do you have to say about being able to revive Harvey Presgrave?"
"Dr. Shadow, do you plan to work with Silverleaf Hospital since you performed the operation here?"
"May I know whether you'll share your method for waking up comatose patients?"
"I heard that you and Johnson Chime worked together on this operation. May I know why you initially chose him as your partner?"
These questions rendered Hera speechless.
Ever since the news of Hera awakening Harvey, who had been comatose for 12 years, started trending on Twitter, many reporters wanted to interview her. However, they received no response to their appointments.
They planned to ambush her at Youngworth Miracle Clinic but were chased away by some men dressed in black clothes. Thus, they gave up on waiting for her at the clinic and decided to try their luck at Silverleaf Hospital. Finally, their efforts paid off.
Before Hera could even answer their questions, more than ten black cars bearing the Killian family name suddenly arrived at Silverleaf Hospital's entrance.
A group of bodyguards dressed in black and wearing sunglasses emerged from the cars and hurriedly parted the reporters to the side, creating a clear path.
Seeing that the bodyguards were wearing the Killian family's symbol on their shoulder patches, the reporters did not dare to crowd around Hera. Instead, they directed their cameras toward the last car in the line. It was a black Rolls-Royce that slowly came to a stop.
Given the grand spectacle, the reporters guessed that it was Bernard who came to pick up Hera.
However, when the car door opened, it was Gemma who stepped out of the car. She looked rather slender in her light green dress and had partly white hair, a kind face, and a gentle gaze. She wore a cross pendant around her neck as she slowly walked toward Hera.
"It's not Mr. Killian?"
"Who is she?"
"It must be someone from the Killian family. Given her grand arrival and youthful appearance, she must be Gemma Killian."
"It's her. Ever since she has devoted herself to religion, she has kept to herself and rarely appeared in public."
"Since she has made an exception to be here, is she here to hire Dr. Shadow?"
"Isn't that obvious enough?"
The reporters' speculations drifted into Hera's ears. She watched Gemma walk closer toward her. A cunning look flashed through Hera's eyes. Gemma was finally here.
Gemma looked at Hera standing
before her. Hera was completely different from the young, weak girl

"Dr. Shadow, shall we talk somewhere where it's more quiet?" Gemma asked gently.
Hera wasn't in a hurry to answer her. Instead, she turned to look at a female reporter with a ponytail standing to her left. "You, come here."
"Me?" The female reporter with the ponytail pointed at herself in disbelief. It was her first day at work, so she never expected to be noticed by Hera, let alone in front of a Killian family member.
"Did you ask me earlier why I chose Johnson as my partner?" Hera questioned.
"Yes, I did." The female reporter nodded repeatedly in shock. Not only did Hera select her, but she even remembered her and her question among so many other reporters.
She immediately shoved the microphone forward and gestured for her colleagues to quickly film at the same time.
Hera looked into the camera and answered calmly, "Johnson is very capable in neurology and surgery. He's a rare, good doctor who's waiting to be discovered. If the

"Are you saying that it serves the Chimes right for where they ended up now?" the female reporter followed up with a question of her own.
"That's all I have to say." With that, Hera turned to Gemma. "Let's go, Ms. Killian."
