The nurse gently walked to the bedside and measured Christopher’s blood pressure.

Only the light on Christopher’s side was turned on in the ward. The light was a little dim. The nurse looked at the value displayed on the test instrument. The result came back normal. Then, she put down the blood pressure sensor and wanted to take Christopher’s temperature again. When she looked up, she saw the man slowly put down his sleeve, and his face tilted to the side as he looked at the woman sleeping beside him with a gentle expression.

with Yorick.
