Chapter 68

Jewel POV

I could barely move what I saw, as the noise inside the bar suddenly disappeared. I could see the fear

in my husband's eyes and the woman bowed as if ashamed of what had happened. Based on the

rumors of other employees, it looks like she is just a beginner because she doesn't seem to know that

the guy she was flirting with is already married.

I don’t know what my reaction will be because of what I witnessed. I can't quite imagine that Thunder

will be able to betray me after all we've been through. I just smiled bitterly.

"Why did you shut up all of a sudden? You all continue the party. I just went by to see if my husband is

okay and he looks fine so I can already sleep soundly," I said and motioned for the DJ to play the music

again.

turned around and walked away.

Tears just kept flowing in my eyes as I drove. I don't know how else I will feel now because I only know

one thing and that is what hurts me so much.

Thunder POV

I am now following my wife after she left the bar and didn’t even listen to my explanation. I feel like the

spirit of alcohol has suddenly disappeared from my system because of what happened.

As I followed her I noticed she was missing the line so I suddenly felt nervous because of that. Later I

saw that there was a car to meet her, I thought she could avoid it but I was wrong.

I could see how my wife's car crashed into the car, I quickly got out of my car and quickly walked over

to her car.

As soon as I opened the door of her car and then lifted her out, I could see her bathing in her own

blood and she was also unconscious probably due to the force of its collision.

I wasted no more moments and I quickly put her in my car and I drove to the nearby hospital where we

were.

As I was driving I couldn’t help but feel fear for my wife. In less than ten minutes we arrived at the

hospital and I quickly dropped her off.

The doctor and nurses acted quickly as they admitted my wife to the emergency room. I was left alone

outside because it was forbidden to enter.

A few times I walked back and forth because of the nervousness I felt, a few times I also prayed for my

wife to survive.

I sat down first to call Cain to let him know what had happened.

"Cain," I begin.

"Hey Thunder, where are you? Did you talk to Jewel?"

"I'm here in the hospital. Are you and Dark together? Just come here," I said.

"Jewel had an accident, just come here," I said and hung up.

It's been almost an hour but still no one is coming out of the emergency room so I can't help but worry

about my wife's condition.

I just bowed while praying again.

Later on the door opened and the doctor came out so I quickly got up and approached it.

"How is my wife doc?" I asked.

"We've already got some crystal in her body Mr. Alcantara, but she lost a lot of blood so we need to

transfuse her before she runs out." His explanation.

"Do everything you can to save my wife," I said and the doctor nodded

"We will do our best for your wife Mr. Alcantara, I need to go now." He said goodbye and go back inside

After the doctor left, I just leaned against the wall on the side of the emergency room. I feel like all my

emotions are mixed up.

'Lord I know I have committed many mistakes in my life but I beg you to please save my wife. Don't

take her away from me because I can't handle when she will come into my life and also my son will get

hurt.' I whispered.
