Chapter 112

Around lunch time, coincidentally both the Sy Madam and old master Sy arrived in Dragon

Mansion.

The Sy Madam had called in advance that she would be coming over. Regarding the old master

Sy, his arrival was unexpected.

Despite the slight awkwardness in the atmosphere, since both the old people's intention was to

the banana chips he gave them.

"Yes, I wike (like) it!" The little girl replied, and continued munching.

"Oh, since princess like it, don't ask anymore. Grandpa will surely have these chips delivered to

you every week so you and your brother will have your weekly stock!" The old master Sy then laughs.

Veronica could only twitch her mouth. She will talk to the twins, especially her glutton little daughter

later about her uncontrollable bad eating habits.

She heard Fair clapped her hands in glee then once again continued munching. "You can give all

the chips to Fair grandpa, I'm not really fond of eating those."

Veronica was relieved. Finally, at least her son is smarter. But her face changed when she heard

her son's next words,

"Instead, I prefer these potato chips. It tastes good and healthy."

'What does healthy taste like?!' Veronica thought and turned to Rawlf who was also sitting in the

corner. Rawlf at the same time turned to her and when their eyes met, there was a clear understanding

between them. 'Our cubs have bad eating habits.'

"Fire, Fair, lunch will soon be prepared. Stop eating those chips and drink water."

Both the twins were about to pop each of their chips in their mouth but stopped midway because of

their mother's voice.

Seeing this, Veronica had to stop herself from laughing at their comical expressions. "That would

be the last chip. Eat that then drink water."

The twins both did so and after chewing the last chip, drank from the water a maid handed to each

of them.

"Veronica dear, would you like me to find nannies for Fire and Fair so it'll be easier for you and

Rawlf?" The Sy Madam finally speaks. She had been sitting all along, watching how her old husband

spoiled their grandchildren with cheap foods.

In order not to make the situation hard for both of them and also not create trouble in front of their

grandchildren, the Sy Madame decided to sit for a while and watch on the side.

After all, she had been spending time with her adorable grandchildren for the past few weeks. She

would lose nothing but to be generous this time.

Anyway she had been generous all along, like how she had been generous to let that husband of

hers to his mistress and not fight for his attention.

"It's okay mom. Oh by the way, I haven't told you about this yet but Rawlf and I were planning to

return to Country R next week to send the kids back."

"Send the kids back? What do you mean?" The Sy Madam asked in shock.

Seeing that the situation would need them elders to talk privately, Rawlf decided to butt in, "We will

talk this over after lunch mom."

The Sy Madam nodded her head, understanding that the kids were just nearby. The issue can

wait.

After their lunch, Veronica first made sure that the twins were well taken care of before following

the two old people and Rawlf in the study.

Both the Sy Madame and old master Sy were clothed with a solemn expression in their face when

she entered the study.

Rawlf must have told them already.

"Mom, Dad, I know that the twins have grown closer with you but we need to send them back to

Country R. We need to think about their safety first." She heard Rawlf continue.

When the three people saw her coming, Rawlf urged him to sit beside him. After settling down

beside the man, she looked at both people in front of her,

"Mom, Uncle,"

"You call Vanessa, mom and you call me uncle? Call me Dad as well." The old master Sy cut her

momentum.

Veronica sees the smug expression in the face of the Sy Madam.

"Okay Dad, as I said, it will be for the time being. Once we settle something here and are sure that

the twins are safe to live here, eventually, the twins will return back here for good.

"Both of you kept on saying 'to settle something'? But what is it? You could always ask for help if

it's something dangerous. Or maybe both of you were now criticizing my capability just because I've

been out of business for a long time?"

"No Dad."

"That's not it Dad." The couple both said at the same time. Veronica nudged Rawlf to continue.

"We can't reveal it for now. It's Veronica's personal matter and I could only respect her decision for

the meantime. But don't worry dad, I'll call for you when I need your help next time."

"If it's regarding what happened that year, with your father, I could help with. But if it concerns other

matters, then I could be patient for the meantime. But we're talking about my grandchildren here. I don't

want to miss them for so long. Especially that I just only came to know and met them. Haven't even

played with them enough yet."

If the voice would only be paired by expression, Veronica could only picture out the old master Sy

pouting right now.

"Yes Dad. Don't worry, dad. We'll get them back here soon as well."

"Then I'll come with you." Not only Rawlf and Veronica but also the old master Sy were shocked by

the Sy Madam's words.
