"No. Every father would do that to their future son in law. In fact, I would even do more in the future

with our princess."

After Veronica and Rawlf settled inside the bedroom, Veronica led him to their children's room.

They first checked on them and after, Veronica soon led him to her father's study.

forehead before opening the study's door to get inside.

Seeing Eddie Wang in the lounge area, Rawlf approached him.

Unlike his ignoring act earlier, he looked at the man and told him to sit,

knew he was right about this older man all along.

Their discussion lasted for almost an hour, however, with the length and extent of their discussion,

it should have lasted for hours. But both men knew that a silly woman both close to their hearts was

waiting outside so they no longer tried to argue on little details. When Eddie Wang finally stood up, it

means they are done.

"I know of your reputation, clearly, but since you're the man my daughter chose and frankly, I know

you are different to her, then I'll entrust her and my grandchildren to you."

Rawlf for the first time in his life, bowed to someone not his father. "I will never disappoint your

trust, father."

"Good."

Eddie Wang stayed in the study because he said that he needs to finish a book tonight and let

Rawlf go ahead, making a sign that someone is outside. And true enough, when Rawlf opened the

study's door, he saw Veronica waiting in a straight posture.

ahead and rest early?"
