She had guessed it right; they had fought, indeed! After what happened with Edgar, how could they not? It had escalated to the point where Sherilyn was hospitalized? The argument must have been intense.

Caroline pointed inside, "How's Sherilyn doing? She's okay, right?"

"She's fine." Gilbert's face showed no emotion and his tone was neutral as he calmly stated, "Sherilyn is pregnant."
