Chapter 36: Dizzy

I wasn't feeling okay, but I managed to go do my work. I have an important meeting today with my team abroad. I decided to do it through Facetime. Because I won't be able to go there, I'm busy here.

"Mom, can we play?" My son went inside my room holding his car toy. I looked at him. I'd been so busy these past few days, and we seldom played together.

I stood up and went near him. I caressed his hair and hugged him.

"Baby, I'm sorry, Mom is busy working. "I saw he frowned but soon smiled at me. It's hard seeing him want to play and have a bonding with me but I couldn't even give him time right now.

"I understand. Mom, Daddy Uncle said that you are busy. I just figured if you are not busy today. But it's okay, Mom. Maybe next time?" He said and kissed me on my chicks.

I smiled broadly and hugged him again. I'm so lucky to have a son like him. He's very understanding and cooperative.

"Thank you, baby. Don't worry, I'll find some time to play with you," I said, and he nodded. He went out of the room while still playing with his car.

I sigh and go back to my computer.

I told my secretary Via to start the meeting already because I still have something to do.

"We made new changes to our company's strategy. Aside from that, here is the statement that shows the impact of these strategies." She showed a file. I read It. It's not that bad.

"Aside from that we should focus on how to make our client be pursued to buy and stick to us. So we can encourage more clients to trust us. As I can see we still have some flaws in this proposal" I started to critic their presentation. "Actually Ms. Jaz, we are also planning to expand it, and make some moves to get our clients attention. I'm that matter-" she started to discuss their proposal. Some were asking her questions and she really answered it correctly. "Alright, it seems that I would agree on it but still it needs progress okay? By next week I want to see your proposal complete and have a progressive outcome." I told them before ending the call.

I stretch my arm and lean my back on the chair. I checked the time, and it was already nine in the morning.

Stacy would be very mad right now because she didn't see me early there. After how many minutes I managed to arrive there and I saw Stacy shout at them. I went in front of her and crossed her arms. "Well, it seems like you have your own time," she gritted her teeth while saying those words.

I let out a sigh I am in no mood to argue with her right now. Besides, I told Rhian to watch them while I was not around, and she seemed to be doing her obligation. It's just that` Stacy is a bitch. Who loves arguing and shouting at people at work?

"What's the problem Ms. Froster?" I held myself back trying to curse her. she raised her eyebrow and smirked.

"You should ask yourself that. You seem to have forgotten that you are working with me. Look at what your staff did! The theme was Blue and not orange!" She shouted at them, pointing at them.

My head knotted because of what she said. I turned to look at her. What the heck is she talking about?

"Ms. Froster, we already discussed

that the other day. We agreed the other day that the theme will be blue because that's what you said. She just rolled her eyes and threw the papers on the floor.

She's losing her mind. How could we have finished this if she kept on changing the plan?! Damn it!

"Well, I changed my mind. I want the violet one now." She said and walked away. I even saw how she smirked. Rhian rushed to come closer to me, and she glared at the bitch.

"Do we still have to do what she said, Ms. Jaz?" she asks, sounding worried and yet irritated. I let out a heavy breath and held my forehead. I felt dizzy.

"Just continue what you are doing I'll just talk to someone" I said and walk in his direction he's busy on his phone.

"Mr. White?" I got his attention, and he was surprised when he saw me talking to him.

He stood up and fixed himself. I held the papers in my hand tightly because I was not really feeling better. I feel like my sight is getting blurry, but I just act normally.

I removed his hand and was about to walk away when I felt dizzy again.

"Jasmine" I heard him calling my name but I couldn't even turn around. I was about to do my first step when I felt like my world was spinning. What's happening? The next thing happened, I suddenly lost my balance and was about to hit the floor when he caught me on time.
