Worship The Ground You Walk On

Chapter 8 Ben’s Beloved

Chapter 8 Ben’s Beloved

When Ben arrived at the Laudia Club, it was already nine in the evening. His friends in the box had

been drinking for a while. With two sexy beauties in his arm, Sean Dunphy was singing a love song

affectionately.

Seeing Ben coming in, he put down the microphone and sat down beside him. “Dude, how’s it going?”

They were nice buddies, and Sean liked to make fun of him. Ben lit a cigarette, silent.

“We haven't seen each other for a while.” Sean patted Ben on the shoulder and held up his wine glass.

Ben leaned back, crossing her legs gracefully, and saying in a low voice, “Not in the mood.”

They had just met at the company yesterday.

Sean snorted coldly and drank a glass of wine. His escort was inviting him to sing. As he drank, he got

up and said to Ben, "By the way, she's back!"

Ben smoked slowly, with an indifferent expression.

Sean finished his song just when Ben finished his cigarette. Before he was about to extinguish the butt,

a soft female voice came--

"Sean, sing one more song! I missed the last one…" Copyright by Nôv/elDrama.Org.

The voice sounded like a heavenly melody to Ben. It broke the innermost silence in his heart.

He didn’t need to look up to know who that was.

"Okay, who would refuse Hanna Lewis’ request?" Sean said with a smirk.

Hanna smiled slightly and sat a few seats away from Ben.

She looked at him gently, smiling charmingly to greet him, "Ben."

He slowly raised his head and stared back.

“It’s been so long,” Hanna said.

He lowered his head and replied with a hoarse voice, “It is.”

“Let's have a glass of wine!" Hanna filled her glass and clinked with him.

She got drunk easily. The glass of whiskey soon made her cheeks flush like a juicy and tender peach,

which made her look more attractive.

Ben sat there quietly and smoked, and the noise around him seemed to have little impact on him. He lit

up one cigarette after another.

Sean looked at him and Hanna and sighed. He put his arms around the girls beside him and continued

drinking and singing.

Late at night, Claudia was discharged from the hospital. In her dreams, she vaguely felt as if something

was pressing on her chest and making it hard for her to breathe.

She struggled to open her eyes, and a familiar scent came in her nostril, yet it had blended with a

strong smell of alcohol.

It was Ben, and he was drunk!

Claudia moved her body, and Ben leaned down, supported by one hand beside her head. In the dim

light of the room, he was taking off his clothes with his sultry eyes squinted.

He felt hot and sweaty. Claudia knew exactly what he was going to do.

The more she thought about it, the more panicked she became. She even wanted to escape...

His cool lips pressed on hers. He was going harder and harder, which gradually turned into an

aggressive kiss.

It was just like how it always turned out to be.

Claudia frowned in pain. He did everything without telling her, and in the way he liked. It was so primal

and aggressive. She had to bite her lower lip.

The smell of wine and nicotine mixed with his unique body scent smelled strangely attractive. He was

exuding intoxicating hormones.

His breath lingered in her ears. His murmurs were hot and sexy, but Claudia was stunned by what he

was whispering!

“Hanna...”

The murmur made Claudia’s heart break. She felt desperate.

He was drunk and was taking her as Hanna Lewis!

“Hanna, you are finally back. Don't leave me again, please.”

He clasped her fingers, and the movements became madder and madder like a wild beast. She

couldn't resist it and could only let his words and actions hurt her heart and body.

She was so heartbroken that she couldn't help herself...

He was so vigorous and forced himself on her until dawn. He did it quite a few times.

Claudia’s heart was broken.

Claudia got out of bed numbly. She picked up her pajamas on the floor and put them on, and then

quickly walked into the next room.

She stood under the shower in a daze. The water was a bit cold, and her heart felt even colder.

On the desk in the study, there was a photo of a young man standing under a coconut tree by the

seaside with a beautiful woman in his arms. He was so handsome and she was so beautiful. They were

such a perfect match.

It was Ben and Hanna in it. Claudia lowered her head and touched her painful chest. Then she took a

deep breath.

She had always paid attention to everything about him since she was a child because she loved him.

So, she knew that Hanna is the one he loved and had missed.

She felt a sharp pain in her lower belly. Some warm liquid was about to flow down. Claudia was startled

and quickly stepped into the bathroom.

The bright red blood was so frightening.

She knew this was serious, therefore she had the housekeeper send her to the hospital.

After she had a series of checks and tests, Winifred came over. Claudia was lying in bed in the

emergency room, so Winifred asked the doctor...

The doctor looked at Ben and hesitated to say something. Finally, she said with a serious face, “Mr.

Crawford, Mrs. Crawford is in the third trimester of her pregnancy. You should call sexual intercourse

off for a while!"

Sexual…

Winifred was surprised. The doctor didn’t dare say more. After some routine examination, the doctor

and the nurse left.

Ben’s face was gloomy, and the expression in his dark eyes was complicated.

Winifred frowned and warned him outside the ward, “I told you to focus on the safety of the baby. You

should restrain yourself!”

He stood aside, emotionless. After a long time, he told the housekeeper before he left, "Keep her in the

hospital until the baby is born!"

The housekeeper bent over and nodded. “Yes, sir.”

Claudia heard every word of his. She could imagine his offish face although he was on the other side of

the wall.

“Our marriage was not built on love. Don't you understand?” Claudia talked to herself. She was

inconsolable with a broken heart.
