Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow

2、Missing her

**Leon’s POV**

After two days after the incident, I haven’t seen Lisa. I wanted to call her Lisa not Mel, because Lisa is more feminine than Mel. She is beautiful. She has an almond shaped eye, pouty lips, a cute little nose, an oval face and a light brown skin. She’s a female version of her father. I guess his father has a Spanish feature which is prominent from his looks, and he is still looking handsome with his age. I was practicing with my team but I couldn’t concentrate on what I did, because I was thinking about Lisa. “When can I meet her again”?

“What? Are you talking now to yourself, Huh Leon?” Jeff asked me. Maybe I was thinking out loud.

“No, I was thinking about the girl Lisa that we accidentally hit by the ball”.

“Yeah, she’s kinda cute”. Jeff answered.

I was apprehended by his answer as if I felt something twisting on my stomach. Some kind of jealousy? All content is property © NôvelDrama.Org.

“I haven’t seen her yet in school. I haven’t gone to her department to ask them about Lisa if she has gone to school. I was also going to the infirmary to gather some more information about her if there is any.” I told my friend Jeff.

“That was a great idea, if you were really into getting more information about her, then go. So that you can concentrate more on our game.” My friend Bryan insisted.

After our practice I directly went to the infirmary to inquire about some information about Lisa if there were any.

“Oh, why are you here young man?” The nurse asked me.

“I just wanted to know if the lady we accidentally hit by the ball came back for a consultation or anything like that?” I was scratching the back of my head while answering her.

“Oh, I know why you are here. You just wanted to know some information about her don’t you, young man?”

Though I was ashamed, I just nodded my head. And she gave me a piece of paper with all the information I needed to know about her.

I just know that she is currently enrolled as 2st year of the Electronics Engineering course, though she doesn’t specify what year she was in when she told us her course. And what an intelligent girl she is because she is University scholar. I myself am in my 3nd year in Mechanical Engineering, but with a sports scholarship. I went straight to her department if she already reported to her classes. Unfortunately, she hasn’t gone to school yet. I left her department desperate to see her.

I went back to my team to hang out. But someone asked me where I was going.

“Where did you go bro? We were looking for you. Is something wrong?”

“No, I just check on something.” I told them.

“Oh, cut the crap Leon. Was that the girl two days ago? You are obviously smitten by that girl. What was her name?” How did they know?

“No, I was checking on my car.” I know it was a lie but I cannot tell them the truth. My teammates started creating a teasing sound. I told them to stop and I don’t want this thing to happen when they see me with Lisa. I don’t want Lisa to feel uncomfortable when I meet her with my team.

“You don’t need to hide it from us. We saw how you looked at her. Don’t deny it bro.” They told me.

“Ok, ok. Just don’t tease me when we see her. I don’t want her to be uncomfortable with us. Is that clear?” I told my team. Yet I can’t deny what I feel for her. It felt different when you like someone, not that some girls just came along with your way and flirted with me. It really disgusted me, but Lisa is different. I felt something different about her.

“Yes captain”. They all answered in unison.
