Chapter 934: Embarrassed to Death
Elijah furrowed his brows and pinched Freya’s cheeks, “Only now you’re saying I’m good? Am I not good to you usually?”
Freya laughed, “No, I know you’re good to me, you love and care for me, I understand in my heart.”
She coquettishly squeezed into his arms, holding him tightly.
Elijah said, “It’s late, let’s go to bed.”
Being treated like this, she no longer felt sleepy.
Elijah also noticed, and asked, “Can’t sleep?”
Freya nodded honestly.
“Then, want to go out and play?” he asked.
Freya looked at the time, it was already midnight.
“At this hour?”
“The nightlife only starts now, get up, I’ll take you out.” Elijah got up.
Freya hesitated, “Is it really okay at this time?”
“What’s wrong with that?” he lifted her up, “Put on some clothes.”
Freya curled up, “Are you serious?”
Elijah raised an eyebrow, “Why not?”
Freya’s playful side was piqued, she and Elijah had never gone out like this before.
She got out of bed, “I’ve never experienced nightlife, you have to make sure I have a good time.”
Elijah sat on the bed watching her, “What would be considered having a good time?”
Freya took out her sexiest outfit from the closet, trying it on herself and asking him, “Does this work?”
Elijah, “…”
The Freya he knew had always been serious.
Probably because of her profession, she always gave off a serious vibe.
This sudden side of her made Elijah slightly uncomfortable, but, this lively and spirited Freya was even more attractive to him, he liked this side of Freya.
He got out of bed, went to her, and took the clothes from her hands, “Let me help you put it on.”
Freya, “…”
Elijah went to take off her clothes.
Freya held her shoulders, smiling and refusing, “No way.”
“I’m your husband, what haven’t I seen? Hm?” he was not avoiding.
Freya couldn’t let go, “Oh, this is embarrassing.”
“What’s there to be embarrassed about?” Elijah circled her waist, holding her tightly in his arms, he leaned down.
Raindrop-like kisses fell on her lips, her neck.
Freya pulled her neck back, if she didn’t resist, he would definitely continue tormenting her, so she said, “Help me with the clothes.”
Elijah accomplished his goal, showing a victorious smile and lightly hummed.
She stood still.
Elijah tentatively grabbed the hem of her clothes and lifted it up.
She was wearing nothing inside, not wearing any clothes yet.
No matter how passionate they were, they wouldn’t observe each other’s bodies while entwined.
Standing there so soberly, letting him look at her body, made her feel very uncomfortable.
She endured her shyness, “Hurry up.”
Elijah said, “I can’t wear this.”
He picked up a black piece, an inner top.
With just one finger, he picked at the strap, the outline of the clothes was so bare, exposed in the air.
Freya felt awkward and embarrassed, snatching it back and gripping it tightly in her hand. She glared at Elijah, “Annoying.”
Elijah laughed, “I was just teaching you how to put it on, why’re you so shy?”
Freya pushed him playfully, “Are we going out or not? Hurry up and get dressed.”
Elijah hummed in agreement.
He turned and walked out, and Freya took off her nightgown and put on the clothes.
Her sexiest outfit was just a camisole.
There were no exposed areas.
She had deliberately put on light makeup.
Otherwise, with a plain face, she wouldn’t be able to pull off this black camisole dress.
She tidied up, quietly went out.
Elijah had already dressed and was waiting downstairs for her.
She came down.
Elijah put his arm around her shoulder, his fingers rubbing back and forth on her arm, making Freya feel itchy, she shrunk her arm, “Stop teasing me.”
Elijah looked down at her.
From his angle, he could just peek at her sexiest spot.
The neckline of the camisole was larger than usual, revealing and full.
She almost never dressed like this, occasionally doing so would only highlight her attractive figure even more.
She wasn’t very tall, but her proportions were admirable, with a slender and well-proportioned body, combined with fair and delicate skin, making her even more beautiful and charming.
Elijah hugged her tightly, “Don’t dress like this again, just this once.”
Freya, “…”
She tilted her head.
Her palm-sized face, delicate yet playfully mischievous, “Don’t you like it?”
Elijah touched her face, “I do, but I don’t like others looking.”
Freya wrapped her arms around his waist, “You’re so chauvinistic.”
But Elijah insisted, “This is me loving you, treating you like a precious treasure.”
…
Elijah drove to a nightclub.
It was one of those places with bright lights and lively music.
Freya was still a bit uncomfortable because she wasn’t used to such places.
And she couldn’t relax fully.
Elijah said, “Don’t be nervous, I’m here.”
Freya leaned on his chest, pouting, “It’s not like it’s a dangerous place, what am I afraid of?”
Elijah chuckled indulgently.
…
Elijah and Freya found a secluded booth and ordered drinks.
In front, people were dancing closely on the dance floor, the loud music and intense dancing seemed to make them forget about the mundane aspects of life, the economic pressures, and they were able to let go and enjoy themselves in this environment.
Perhaps this was the charm of nightlife.
Perhaps this was why many people were captivated and addicted to it.
This place felt distant from the annoyances of daily life.
It was a place of relaxation.
But it was also a place where people could lose themselves the most.
For those with good self-control, they only came occasionally, but some people might rely on this method of relaxation.
Freya understood those who enjoyed this lifestyle.
She leaned on Elijah’s chest.
Sipping her cocktail.
“They’re so young,” she sighed.
Elijah, “…”
He furrowed his brows, “Are we old?”
Freya said, “Compared to them, we are.”
In front of them were attractive men and women with exotic looks, they were pleasing to the eye.
She enjoyed watching, but…
She peeked at Elijah’s expression.
She was just an ordinary person.
She also feared an unhappy marriage.
She held Elijah’s hand, “Don’t look at beautiful women.”
Elijah looked at her, the dim light couldn’t hide his deep gaze.
He leaned down and kissed her forehead, her nose, her lips…
She tilted her head to meet his kiss.
In such a place, kissing felt especially exhilarating…
Freya boldly sat on his lap, wrapping her arms around his neck.
They indulged in passion, their fiery passion burning like a flame.
This classic description of a nightclub scene was truly fitting.
…
In the early hours of the morning, they came out.
Elijah put his coat around her.
“Are you tired?”
Freya shook her head, “Not tired, just hungry.”
Elijah glanced at the time, “At this hour, there’s nowhere to get food.”
“Let’s have someone make it when we get back,” Elijah said.
But Freya said, “That’s too much trouble, I saw that the supermarket over there is still open, let’s just grab something to eat.”
She held Elijah’s arm, “Will you accompany me?”
Elijah said, “Of course.”
He accompanied Freya inside.
Freya bought instant noodles.
Elijah wrinkled his brow but didn’t stop her.
Freya knew what he wanted to say.
“Occasionally,” Freya laughed, “Would you like a bucket too?”
Elijah shook his head.Content © NôvelDrama.Org 2024.
Freya pouted, “You’re not hungry?”
“No,” he replied.
“You’re not eating, I am, and I bought some other things, sausages, chips, all unhealthy food.”
Having bought what she needed, Elijah paid, and they left the supermarket, driving back home.
