Chapter 476
Chapter 476
"Mr. Moore." Lucille heard the sound of the door opening and she immediately stood up.
The door was opened, and a strong smell of alcohol swept over.
"Why did you drink so much wine?"
Lucille saw Franklin, who fell to the ground as soon as he came in, and quickly went over to help him.
"Oh, why did you ask me to come back?"
When Franklin spoke, his breath reeked of alcohol and he could not speak clearly. Because he was
drunk, his body seemed to be heavier. When he saw Lucille coming to help him, he unceremoniously
pressed all his weight on her. C0ntent © 2024 (N/ô)velDrama.Org.
"Let's talk about it later. I'll help you change your clothes first."
Lucille knew that they would not be able to talk to each other when Franklin was in this state.
She used all her strength to help him to the master bedroom and threw him on the bed.
The bedroom's light was on. Under the orange light, she noticed around four colors of lipsticks on the
man's shirt, and she could also catch a whiff of a strong perfume scent of him.
Lucille felt inexplicably wronged when she helped him unbutton his shirt. He was obviously her
husband, but his body was full of the scent of other women, and she could not even complain.
Franklin could feel her actions. He opened his eyes and saw a teardrop sliding down the woman's
cheek.
All of a sudden, he felt irritated!
"What are you crying for? Do you blame me for loving other women and not you?"
Franklin did not care about what Lucille thought. He raised his hand, grabbed her arm and pulled her to
the bed.
"What?"
"Come on, let me love you," Franklin said.
"No... Mr. Moore, can we talk?"
"Talk? Don't you think it's too late to talk now?" He asked.
"No... Mr. Moore, you, you don't remember me, do you?"
Even though she knew he was completely drunk, Lucille wanted to tell him who she was. She
fantasized that if Franklin knew who she was, maybe his attitude towards her would be completely
different.
"Do you think that I drank too much? Don't be afraid, no matter how much I drink, I would still
remember the woman who forced herself on me in order to cheat my money." Franklin did not care if
his words stabbed Lucille's heart at all.
"No..." Lucille did not expect Franklin to say this. "I am Little Dumb. Don't you remember? When we
were 13 years old, that Little Dumb?"
When Lucille mentioned something about 'Little Dumb', he did not have time to think about it. He
leaned down and said, "Little Dumb? Let me cure you today."
"It's not like that... Um..."
Without waiting for Lucille to say anything, the man's kiss had completely sealed her lips.
When he felt that it was about time, he wanted to proceed to the next step. However, soon after,
Franklin discovered that it was challenging...
He raised his head and looked at Lucille in front of him, whose face was as red as blood. He narrowed
his eyes and asked, "Is this your first time?"
"Well..." Lucille nodded shyly.
"Oh." When Franklin heard this, he smiled scornfully. "In order to cheat my money, the Jules family had
really paid a high price."
The next day, Franklin woke up very late because of the drunken night.
When he woke up, he was the only one on the bed.
Franklin laid on the bed and looked at the strange environment for a while. Soon after, he realized that
it was his marital room.
After he got married, he had never stepped foot in that room before.
Franklin took a look at his watch that was beside the bed. It was almost nine o'clock. His first reaction
was that there were no change of clothes in this room, therefore he needed to go home to change his
clothes first.
However, when Franklin went over to the sofa to retrieve his clothes, he saw that there was a new suit
and pants on the sofa, with a pair of obsidian cufflink on the coffee table next to him. The things from
his pants were in the pants pocket.
He had never worn that suit before, but he liked the style.
Franklin was stunned, but he quickly put on the suit.
When the cufflinks were buttoned up, he saw some red stains on the white sheet on the bed.
His heart, which had not been disturbed by any women for a long time, was particularly annoyed at that
moment.
After Franklin was dressed, he went downstairs. As he was about to go out, he was stopped by
someone behind him, "Mr. Moore, let's have breakfast before you go."
It was Lucille. Although they had been married for so long, she had always called him Mr. Moore.
She did not dare to cross the line.
Franklin turned his head and looked at her, who wore a style of skirt which he disliked the most. After a
moment of hesitation, he sat down.
"I will allow you to occupy the position as Mrs. Moore for a while longer." Franklin took a sip of the soup
and paused for a moment before continuing, "If I find out that your family had used your name to
borrow money, then you will have to leave."
As a couple, when one party borrowed money, the couple must repay the debt together, regardless of
whether they were divorced or not.
In other words, as long as the Jules family borrowed money using her identity, Franklin would need to
repay the debt together with her.
Lucille was very nervous when she heard what he said. She thought about what Alma and Natasha
mentioned the day before, and she knew that they would borrow money again sooner or later.
Instead of letting Franklin find out about it from others, it was better to tell him herself.
She looked at Franklin, who drank the bowl of soup bit by bit, and asked carefully, "Do you need
another bowl?"
"Okay." Franklin agreed almost without thinking.
He found that the taste of the soup made by Lucille was just right, and it suited his taste very well.
When she heard Franklin say yes, she was a little excited. She quickly took his bowl and went to the
kitchen to get a refill for him.
They had been married for two months and that day was probably the happiest day of her life.
Franklin sipped on his soup bit by bit. He looked at the time, got up and was about to leave when he
was stopped by Lucille.
"Mr. Moore, let's... divorce."
When Lucille said these words, her heart seemed to be weighed down by a thousandton weight, and
she could not breathe.
However, she knew that even if she was nostalgic and was reluctant to give up, she must say it for
Franklin's sake.
