Chapter 495
Chapter 495
Franklin was not surprised. He turned to look at Lucille, and soon he revealed a faint smile, "Then
come on in."
"Okay."
Lucille clenched her fists lightly and stared at the entrance of Neon Bar, which was full of colorful neon
lights. After struggling internally for a while, she finally took a step forward.
She followed the people in front of her and walked forward.
Along with Franklin, there were also two other playboys, each having a woman by their side.
When Lucille entered the bar, the waiter stopped her, "Excuse me, are you here alone?" Content from NôvelDr(a)ma.Org.
The waiters were experienced. Just taking a glance at Lucille, they could tell that she didn't seem to fit
in there.
"I..." Lucille did not know how to answer.
"She was invited by Young Master Moore."
Before Lucille could speak further, Yvonne received Franklin's instructions and swaggered over to
explain to the waiter.
When the waiter heard that she was with Franklin, he stepped aside instantly, "Apologies, please come
in."
Lucille shook her head and silently followed the people to the most luxurious private room in the bar.
The three men sat at one end of the room with each having a woman in their arms.
Lucille stood at a corner alone, not knowing where to go.
Seeing this, Yvonne's red lips pressed against Franklin's cheek and spoke in a volume that was audible
to everyone, "Young Master Moore, your ex-wife is not cool. Why is she still standing over there?"
"Who knows?"
Franklin did not even cast a glance at her but called the waiter over to order some wine and food.
At that moment, Lucille actually regretted her decision of going in.
She wished to explain to Franklin about the misunderstanding about her and Zoel. She did not have to
come to such a place for that reason.
She felt uneasy in such a place.
However, when Lucille saw Franklin holding Yvonne in his arms, rage surged through her.
She was jealous and furious.
She walked toward them and stood in between Franklin and Yvonne, "I want to sit here."
Her fair finger pointed at the place between the two of them.
"The ex-wife of Young Master Moore, are you trying to vie for a seat with me?" Yvonne was a little
angry. She deliberately hooked her arm around Franklin's neck and spoke coquettishly, "Young Master
Moore, I'm not happy."
Franklin raised his head and looked at Lucille in front of him. Her clear eyes were full of grievances.
Knowing that she must have mustered up her courage to say that, Franklin was a bit excited.
"Okay."
Franklin then stretched out and pushed Yvonne to the side to make a space in between.
Lucille was surprised that Franklin would really give her a seat. She sat down immediately.
The space was small that she was pressing against Franklin when she sat down.
Yvonne who was at her back, gritted her teeth in fury.
"Mr. Moore..."
Lucille sat there and didn't know what to do.
She was at a loss.
Franklin didn't mind. He took out a cigarette from his pocket and put the lighter in her hand, then he
asked, "Do you know how to light a cigarette?"
"Yes, I do."
Lucille nodded.
She lit the lighter with her small hand rustily, and gently lit up the cigarette for Franklin.
Under the dim light, Lucille saw the faint smile on Franklin's face through the flame.
However, she could tell that the smile was wry.
At that moment, a waiter brought in some wine.
"Serve the wine."
Leaning his back on the couch, Franklin crossed his legs and gave his order to the women.
Yvonne, who had been restless, suddenly stopped moving. Lucille was not good at serving wine, but
she knew that Franklin was asking her to do it.
Lucille did not think much but started pouring all the wine in front of her into the glass.
When she was pouring halfway, the rest started to laugh.
"Young Master Moore, your ex-wife is trying to get you drunk so that she can have fun with you." A man
said.
Yvonne glanced at Lucille's flat belly and added, "Young Master Moore, didn't you say that your ex-wife
is pregnant? Why can't I tell it at all? Could it be a scam and she is trying to take this opportunity to get
pregnant?"
"Am... Am I wrong?" Lucille looked at the reactions of the people and knew that she must have done
something wrong.
It was the first time she came to such a place, hence she didn't know how to serve wine at all.
Franklin, who was leaning on the couch, squinted his eyes slightly. He stared at the woman in front of
him and asked, "Is that your real intention?"
His tone was flat, without showing any joy or anger.
"Of course not!" Lucille explained hastily, "I... I am here to explain what happened in the morning. In
fact, Mr. Parker and I..."
"I have told you. I won't listen to you until you've pleased me."
Franklin interrupted her ruthlessly before she
could explain further.
Since she had agreed to serve him, she had to do it.
"Okay..." Lucille lowered her head and clenched the hem of her clothes, not knowing what to do.
Yvonne stood by the side without moving. She wanted to humiliate Lucille.
"You do it." A man who was sitting at the other side of the room nudged his companion forward to serve
the wine instead.
The embarrassing scene came to an end finally.
Lucille saw that the woman first put some ice into the glass before pouring the wine. As the glass was
filled with ice, there was not much wine being served.
There were seven of them in the private room. The woman had poured seven glasses of wine. There
was an extra glass, which was the one served by Lucille.
The man at the opposite of Lucille spoke, "Since this glass is served by you, then drink it yourself."
"I can't drink, I... I'm really pregnant."
Lucille explained in an instant.
"Is that so?" Yvonne asked smugly, "Is it not
true that a pregnant lady has a big belly? You've been pregnant for several months, haven't you? Why
is your belly still flat?"
"It's true that I'm pregnant." Lucille stared at Franklin, showing her panic through her eyes.
She was really afraid that Franklin would also ask her to drink.
If that was the case, then she had no choice but to leave.
Franklin took a glance at the woman beside him, who was tugging his clothes while looking at him
nervously. After a moment of silence, he said, "Yvonne, ask the waiter to get her dressed. It's not cool
to dress like this."
"That's right."
The rest went into an uproar.
Yvonne understood immediately and got up, "No problem."
The weather was cold. Lucille was wearing a sweater, long- sleeved shirt and a pair of jeans. Her
clothes were indeed out of place in the bar.
Everyone in the bar was not heavily dressed as the heating system was strong. After staying for a
while, Lucille did not feel cold but even felt a bit warm.
Yvonne took Lucille's hand and said with a smile, "Let's go, Young Master Moore's exwife."
"Okay..."
Lucille thought that as long as she did not have to drink, everything was fine.
She just had to change her clothes.
She glanced at the three women around her, including Yvonne. Even though they were wearing sexy
dresses, but those dresses were acceptable to her.
Yvonne led her and greeted the supervisor of the bar. After a short while, the supervisor brought over a
bag.
Yvonne then took Lucille to a lounge to get her changed.
When Yvonne took out the clothes from the bag, Lucille couldn't help but took a step back. She asked,
"Am I going to wear this?"
