Pearl knew Sean cared about Richard, even though Sean didn't show it. He usually acted like he didn't care and even argued with Richard. But really, he just wanted his brother to pay attention to him.

Pearl gave a weak smile because of Sean's awkwardness and handed back the toy. "I know. I didn't take it to heart either."

Sean breathed a sigh of relief but still seemed a bit disappointed. "That's good. I'm glad you're not upset."

Pearl looked at the toy in Sean's hand. "This..."
