The death of my father was a devastating one for myself and my mom. But still, I can’t just follow him he already lived his life and is here to leave my known life either positive or negative.

” Dad, you will always be in my heart even as I no longer set my eyes on you” As I said these words on the funeral grounds my mom just kept on crying which I did also. At my back was Mr Smith and Bryan who just wore a frown.

” Dad, I can never forget you” I cried I turned around placing my head’s ok Mr Smith’s chest which he just tapped gently on my back to comfort me.

I cried so much within a few minutes that my eyes were already pure red and I already had a pale look on my whole body.

” So, I know you lost your father and it is so heartbreaking and your honeymoon is over, so I would need you to come back to work.” Mr Smith said as he sipped his coffee out of his specially made mug cup.

” Okay sir I will then follow you to work after my meal,” I said to Mr Smith with a smile on my face as usual.

Mr Smith nodded his head and continued his breakfast as I rushed mine to get prepared for work. In less than three minutes I was already done with my breakfast and started preparing for my first day at work after my wedding.

I pulled off my clothes, totally naked, and stood up in the mirror with a shaving razor and cleared up all the hairs in my armpit. After that, I headed into the bathroom and took a short time bathing. I rushed up all my time since I wouldn’t want to keep Mr Smith waiting for me.

I came out of the bedroom with a nice and pretty blue gown, which was halfway my feet, with a flat black shoe and my hair packed in a ponytail. I walked up to meet Mr Smith, and immediately his eye captured me and his nose noticed the nice fragrance that came near him he quickly stood up with a smile.

” You can have your way, y my lady,” Mr. Smith said as he gave a slight how to me using his hands to show me the directions forward. I felt so shy of myself with all that, but still, I just smiled instead with pride.

In a short time, I and Mr. Smith approached his Jeep and we quickly went into it.

” Hope you are better and comfortable in this car?” Mr Smith asked as the engine if the Jeep started preparing to move.

” Okay daughter” Mr Smith was just a kind and fun man to be with. While in the car we had a lot of discussions before reaching our final destination which was the office.

I prepared to open the car door when Mr. Smith’s words drew me back.” No, don’t try it, the drivers would do that” he said which I just followed and returned my hands in holding my bag I took to work. Within a few, minutes the driver came up and opened up the car. Immediately I stepped down I inhaled a long-time fragrance of the environment. The surroundings did not have as many changes as I thought they would have though.

” Hello, Miss Amelia” Amanda one of my co-workers came to me with a smirk on her face as she helped me with my bags. I was so happy with what my eyes were seeing at that time. From that time till forever, I would be respected more in the office than before.

Myself, Mr Smith, and Amanda walked up to enter the office arena as all the people working there quickly stood up without a second choice.

” Welcome, Mr. Smith” Greetings came up from the whole workers just bent my head down waiting for Mr Smith to make another step so I could follow him.

” From now on in this company if am not around and any of you do not reach up to Bryan just come meet her. From, today onwards she is now a deputy to the company managing director ” I was so shocked while the other people clapped deep for me making me feel shy.

” And Amanda would be your assistant” This again caused another round of clapping in the hall.

” You all could begin your job,” Mr. Smith said as everyone sat down placing their eyes on their laptops while so just began to gossip.

“Let’s meet at the conference room there’s a meeting holding there since,” Mr Smith said as he walked fast which was kind of kind of hard to catch up with.

Myself and Amanda used the elevator with Mr Smith so trekking to the building’s 5th floor won’t be hard. Sooner than I expected we are already near the conference room.

” Sorry for beginning late” Immediately Mr Smith entered everyone stood up in respect including his son. I followed Mr Smith into the room in the same time frame.

” Dae” I was flabbergasted to see him in the meeting.
