“Brendon! Stop talking!”

Ranita’s face turned beet red with embarrassment. She felt too ashamed to face anyone. Thankfully, no one in the bar knew her; otherwise, some strange gossip might spread.

“Alright, I won’t say anything!” Brendon kissed her flushed cheek. “Baby, shall I take you home?”
