“Isn’t the company important anymore?”

Brendon kissed her and said, “Don’t worry, it won’t go bankrupt!” After a pause, he added happily, “If it does, I’ll sell my charm and let you support me!”

Ranita was speechless.

“Brendon, stop joking!” Ranita thought he was just staying for a few days and would return to Kurima when the time came.

So she went along with his antics.

“I’m not joking. Caleb is there in Kurima, and if worse comes to worst, Ewan Stuart can help!” Brendon looked at Ranita seriously. “I’ve missed out on four years with you. I want to be with you and Ayaan.”

“Ranita, I want to pursue you properly, so you’ll willingly stay with me for a lifetime.”

A lifetime?

Ranita felt a pang in her heart, a mix of pain and sweetness.

She couldn’t believe Brendon was saying he wanted to be with her for a lifetime.

“Don’t get distracted, kiss me a bit longer.” Brendon pulled her closer. As they kissed, things started to get out of control, and the heat between them intensified.

Brendon pushed his luck, asking, “How about repaying me with your body for saving your life?”

Ranita kicked him angrily. “Get lost!”

“I need to go home now!” She had come out to see someone off and had been gone for ages. Alexia must be worried!

Luckily, she didn’t bring her phone, or it would have been blowing up with calls!

“You’re just going to leave me like this?” Brendon spread his arms, lying on the sofa with a noticeable bulge in his pants, making Ranita’s face flush even more.

She was sweating a bit, her delicate skin turning pink like a porcelain doll.

“I’ll come back tonight?” Ranita threw out the words and ran off hurriedly!

At the door of her house, Ranita patted her cheeks before going in.

“Ranita, you’re finally back! Why were you out for so long?” Alexia asked anxiously as soon as she saw her. “And why are your cheeks so red?”

“It’s hot outside!” Ranita explained. “I just took a walk and noticed a lot of changes. There’s even an artificial lake now…”

“Mommy! What are you thinking about? Why are you daydreaming?” Ayaan had come over at some point, hugging her leg and looking up at her adorably.

Ranita patted his head and heard Ayaan ask sweetly, “Mommy, are you thinking about Daddy?”

“You told Daddy you would give me a little brother or sister. When will that happen?”
