Hence, the shooting process took almost a month, which was about two weeks longer than anticipated.

During that time, Skylar only had two phone calls with Tobias.

The last call caught Tobias during a meeting, so they did not get to talk long before the man had to

hang up.

To wrap up filming, every cast member was arranged for a one-on-one interview, where the host would

dig into their thoughts on the trip.

Seated on a tall chair, Skylar calmly uttered, “The journey was not an easy one for me. Not only was

the place packed with tourists, but I couldn't sleep or eat well either. Not to mention the language

barrier.”

Unsure of how to respond to the ridiculously straightforward comment, the host was stunned for a

moment. “Saorise seems to think very highly of you. She said that you're both beautiful and cute.”

“I think I'm way past the age for cuteness.”

“I heard that you guys created your own chat group. Is there any chance that you'll travel together

again soon?”

Skylar was only invited into the group the day before, but the first thing she did was mute it.

“No, I don't think so. Seeing how busy we all are, we barely even have time for ourselves, let alone

travel. Besides, I think there are still plenty of places to visit locally.”

“About Kai—”

Skylar immediately interrupted the host when she heard the name. “We've worked in the same movie

before. In fact, it was the first one I starred in. That's how we knew each other, and we've been good

friends ever since.”

Then, Skylar checked the time before shifting her attention back to the host. “I have to go pack my

things now. We're done here, right?”

Because of Skylar's attitude, the host thought interviewing Skylar was a chore since she was obviously

much snappier than the others.

For her flight home, Skylar had Laurel get her a seat in first-class just so people would not think that

she was any poorer than her peers.

When Laurel saw Skylar in person at the airport, she was shocked. “My goodness! Was that a weight

loss camp that you joined?”

“You know how it is. There's never any shortage of drama with these women. Remind me to never

participate in this kind of reality show again. Nobody even came looking for me when I got lost! If it

weren't for Kai, you probably wouldn't even be talking to me right now.”

Skylar remembered how Saorise intentionally left her behind the night before. With nobody around to

help her, Skylar got lost for a while until Kai finally found her.

Skylar was grateful for how caring and protective Kai was to her. If the man were in a horror movie, he

probably would have been the first one to get killed.

Kai hurriedly caught up with Skylar at the airport before taking his phone out. “Do you think I could

follow you on Instagram? I mean, you don't intend to keep me blacklisted forever, do you?”
