Chapter 786

Agnes was furious. She should have been on guard against Yolanda all along.

But what Agnes hadn't expected was that Yolanda didn’t care about the interests of the TV station.

Even if Agnes were to call Mr. Judson now, it would be too late, and Yolanda would certainly deny

everything and even try to blame Agnes instead.

What Agnes needed to do now was to find a way to get into the venue.

Agnes first thought of Jared. Didn't he have an invitation? He should be able to get her in.

But Agnes still had some concerns. Although Jared was not part of the entertainment industry, his

every move was closely watched by the media.

If she asked Jared for help, it would be equivalent to exposing her relationship with him, and then the

media would definitely dig deeper into their relationship.

As Agnes was hesitating, she suddenly heard someone call her name.

When she turned around, she saw Justin.

When he saw Agnes' face clearly, he could hardly believe it. "Agnes, is that really you?"

Agnes had thought she might run into Justin at the film festival today. But she hadn't expected it to be

this early.

Justin had just stepped out of his car.

This wasn't the red carpet area, so there weren't many reporters around.

Agnes greeted him casually, "Justin, long time no see."

To her surprise, Justin strode forward and directly held Agnes in his arms. "You naughty girl, where

have you been all these years? I shouldn't have let you go to Jared. He didn't appreciate you at all. I

regret going abroad for filming back then. When I came back, you had disappeared. Agnes, do you

know how I felt?"

When Agnes and Jared were getting divorced, Justin was abroad filming a new movie. He had heard

rumors from home and wanted to return, but his schedule was tight and his manager kept a close eye

on him.

By the time he had finished filming and returned home to find out what had happened, Agnes was

already divorced and had disappeared. This had always been Justin's biggest regret.

Over the years, whenever he had the chance, he would ask Ivan about Agnes, but there had been no

news.

Now, unexpectedly, he saw her at the film festival. He could hardly believe it.

Agnes was held so tightly by Justin that she could hardly breathe. She patted Justin's back and said,

"Justin, you don't need to be so excited. I mean, I'm back now. We can... talk about it."

But Justin still didn't let go of Agnes.

Suddenly, someone shouted, "It's Mr. Justin!" And a swarm of journalists came rushing over.

Soon, she and Justin were surrounded.

The flash of the cameras was so bright that Agnes could hardly keep her eyes open.

She was distressed. She had just been contemplating whether to ask Jared for help, and now she had Content from NôvelDr(a)ma.Org.

Justin, you big jerk. She cursed inside of her.

Agnes struggled hard to free herself from Justin's arms. But by then, the reporters had already

surrounded them.

"Mr. Justin, what's your relationship with this lady?"

"Mr. Justin, are you confident of winning Best Actor this time?"

"We heard that Mr. Justin has a secret girlfriend. Is she the one?"

Justin's bodyguards and assistant quickly came over to shield them from the reporters.

To the swarm of journalists, Justin arrogantly said, "This is my private business. No comment."

Then he confidently took Agnes' hand and headed for the red carpet.
