Chapter 262 Protect My Son (Part Three)

When Jackson heard his words, the expression on his face immediately changed. He thought, 'Why

didn't anyone tell me about such an important matter? If I had known about it in time, I would have

wiped out the ZM Group when it was still weak, but now it's ranked second in the city, and I have no

When Derek heard that, he was immediately taken aback. He glanced at Bobby, and then said, "Is

Mond planning to hurt Joe?"

"I'm not sure, but one thing that I know is that he's very cruel. If he wants to root out someone, he'll do it

by hook or by crook, without worrying about any of the consequences that follow, " firmly said Jackson.

Although he didn't know Mond well, it was clear to him about what kind of man he was.

Derek understood what Jackson meant; he nodded, and said, "Yes, you're right, you should protect

Joe. If Mond gets his shot, we can't even imagine what he would do to Joe."

Bobby didn't understand all of their words, but when he saw their worried faces, he firmly said, "Don't

worry, Mr. Jackson, Mr. Derek. I'll send someone to protect Joe well."

Derek then thought for a while, and said, "I've analysed the present situation, and I think that Jean is on

Mond's side now."

After that he looked at Jackson, and thought, 'Since Mond has reappeared, Jackson and I should make

up our minds how to deal with all of these things that relate to the past.'

"They're surely together, but I think that you've missed one person, " replied Jackson.

Derek stared at him, and with conviction in his voice, said, "Sally!"

Jackson didn't reply, and instead looked at Bobby and said, "Can you get any information on Sally

before she returned to the city?"

Bobby thought for a while, and said, "It might take me some time and some work."

"Find out everything about her! Find out everything about her past!" commanded Jackson. He was

determined, and said to himself, 'In order to protect Cherry and Joe, I have to wipe out all those who

might pose a danger to them. I must provide a safe environment for them to live!'

"Yes, Mr. Jackson!" replied Bobby. He had no other choice but to submit to Jackson's command, and

he had no right to disobey him, ever.

"Jackson, I have a feeling that a war will soon break out, " suddenly said Derek.

"It's already broken out, but we didn't realize that until now, " said Jackson, with anger written all over

his face. He thought, 'I should have expected this since all of those things happened in the past. I had

always deceived myself that they had been settled down, and that nothing serious would happen again,

but the day finally came, and those people still bear their old hatred in their souls. They can't forget

about the past, and what happened to their families!'

"What should we do next?" asked Bobby, "Should we ask for some help?"

"No, we only need to act according to the moment. The present situation is still under our control, but if

we need to ask for their help, I'll find Grandpa and get the token from him, " firmly said Jackson.

After Derek thought for a while, he said, "Jackson, we can wait for some more time, because we're still

unsure about many things. For example, what does Mond actually want to do? How much has he

prepared? What's his real purpose? After we figure out all of these things, we can work out our next

move. The men under Bobby's command are enough for now, and there's no need to seek for the

others' help."

After Bobby heard his words, he also said to Jackson, "I totally agree with Mr. Derek. We should first

clear things up before we make our next move."

"Bobby, promise me that you'll protect Joe well!" commanded Jackson again, because he knew that if

any bad news regarding Joe ever came up it would surely break Cherry's heart, not to mention his.

"Okay, Mr. Jackson! Don't worry, I'll do everything well according to your orders, " said Bobby as he

diligently nodded his head.

Then, Jackson fell into silence again, but Derek could understand what he was worried about: he was

afraid that Mond would take his revenge on Joe. It was very easy for Mond to kill Joe if he had the

chance to do it, and he wouldn't feel sorry about that for a second, because the hatred between

Jackson and him was beyond any description.

Derek looked at him, and said, "Jackson, I think that Mond won't hurt Joe before he first meets with

you. Besides, Bobby will send someone to protect Joe, so he'll be safe and sound. You don't have to

be so worried."

But Jackson still didn't say a word.

After some time, Jackson eventually stood up from his seat and said to Derek, "Let's go to the JS

Group now."

"Okay, " replied Derek, and when he saw Jackson stepping towards the elevator, he immediately

followed him.

After Bobby saw them disappear behind the elevator's door, a torrent of fury lighted up in his eyes. He

was sure that a great war would soon break loose, and all of his brothers would appear in the near

future. However, at the same time, he had a strange feeling that this was exactly what he was waiting

for to happen.
