My Flash Romance With the Richest Mogul

Chapter 1362

Skylar found it hard to believe that Joe marrying Rosa could attract such a large crowd. Her thoughts were a bit scattered as she took in the scene. "They're not here yet? Then we might as well take a moment to rest," Gloria remarked, slightly surprised as she glanced at her wristwatch.

Inwardly, she wondered if the delay meant that Joe might not show up at all. If he really didn't come, he would truly be proving himself her grandson. The idea that he had been forced into marriage by someone with hidden motives was simply not something Joe would tolerate. Of course, she kept that thought to herself.

She didn't want to give Skylar any false hope only for things to turn out differently.

Meanwhile, Rosa was being assisted from her ward to the elevator and finally to the hospital's underground parking lot.

She hadn't gotten much rest the entire night. After the surgery, which involved both a wrist injury and a suicide attempt, her body felt extremely weak. Despite the doctor's protests, she insisted on being discharged. Once she was helped into the car, Rosa barely had the strength to sit upright. She forced herself to look around the interior. "Where's Ned?"

Not seeing him, Rosa's face paled. She fought against the dizziness to question Brian and Calvin.

Calvin replied, "Mr. Sowle had an important meeting and couldn't make it to pick you up. But don't worry, Ms. Reese, you'll see him soon."

Rosa's face was pale, and she

seemed unaware of how weak shenovelbin

was. Hearing she would see Joe soon, Rosa finally relaxed a bit and asked someone nearby to help recline her seat.

She no longer had the energy to sit up and simply wanted to lie down.

Noticing her paleness, Calvin asked with concern, "Ms. Reese, you don't look well. Would you like to return to the hospital to have the doctor check on you?"

Rosa immediately refused, her tone

sharp. "I'm fine. Just do your job and get moving. The traffic can get bad, so hurry up and drive. I don't want to waste any time getting married to Ned."

Today, she would go to any lengths to get there. No one and nothing could stop her from marrying Joe. Seeing her determination, Calvin wisely chose not to say anything more.

His gaze lingered on Rosa's face for a few seconds. He didn't know how to assess her situation. She seemed almost deranged.

Rosa was gambling with her own

life. As the car moved slowly, she

closed her eyes. She had barely

et

slept the night before, and as soon

as the car left the hospital, she couldn't help but drift off intoa deep slumber.

Eventually, she didn't know how long she had been asleep. When she groggily woke up, she found herself no longer in the car but in her own bed at home.

At first, she thought she hadn't fully woken up and was still in a dream. But the next moment, she suddenly opened her eyes wide and sat up.
