Please Let Me Go

Chapter 6 I Won’t Allow You to Have This Child

Chapter 6 I Won’t Allow You to Have This Child

In the Baron family house, Adelaide was in a daze for a long time.

“Bang!”

Suddenly, her reverie was broken by a sudden intrusion of someone from the outside.

To her surprise, Antonio had returned. His face was a sight of terror and a solemn expression was

hanging on his face. His presence alone intimidated her a lot.

“…” Adelaide subconsciously shrunk back as she placed her hand defensively on her belly.

“Did you have a good rest here?”

Antonio let out a snort, and in an instant Adelaide felt her whole frame freeze.

“What do you want?”

Knowing that Antonio wouldn’t let her off the hook that easily, she watched him inching towards her

slowly, and her heart almost jumped out of her ribcage. Despite that, because she had just fainted not

long ago, there was not an ounce of energy left in her body. She could only watch him approached him

without being able to do anything.

“Let you go?”

Antonio suddenly grabbed Adelaide’s wrist and bellowed, “You useless thing, how dare you fainted in

the hospital just now? If it were not for the fact that Clarissa needs your blood, I should have destroyed

you a long time ago!”

Antonio continued to ramble on ruthlessly, “You better hope that Clarissa’s impending baby is fine,

otherwise, nothing you do would be able to repay your debt!”

“I—But…” Destroy her? Pay back her debt? Adelaide felt her heart fall to the bottom of an abyss. She

was still wrapping her head around the fact that these exact words were actually spouted by Antonio.

“But, the child in my belly also belongs to you.” Adelaide muttered as she stared at her belly. She

couldn’t understand why Antonio had chosen not to believe her. Was she that tiny and insignificant in

his eyes?

“Mine?” Antonio laughed coldly, “Even if that child is mine too, who do you think that I would place more

importance on? Between your child or Clarissa’s child.”

“You…”

Adelaide was on the brink of despair as her pupils contracted greatly. She met Antonio’s eyes and said

vehemently, “You are really pushing me to the brink of death!”

Her words were like a sharp knife piercing Antonio’s heart. He felt something inside him tremble.

This was the second time that Adelaide was using death to threaten him, but for some reason, it was

still very disturbing for him.

She wanted to die? No way!

“Push you to the brink of death? So what?” He was overcome with fury as he howled while he pinched

Adelaide’s chin, “Bring up death again, and I would really skin you after your death and make sure you

would never enjoy peace in your afterlife!”

However, Adelaide no longer put up any resistance. She just stared straight into Antonio’s eyes.

For whatever reason, while taking in Adelaide’s stubborn disposition, Antonio could only feel his anger

surging like the volcano. It was erupting non-stop.

Was this woman planning to oppose him using the same way every time? Did she really think that she

could win over him?

All of a sudden, his hand which was grabbing Adelaide’s chin suddenly lost all its strength. He had let

go for some reason.

“I can let you off the hook.”

A cruel smile was playing around his lips as he said that. This atrocious expression really frightened

Adelaide.

“Are you for real?” She asked doubtfully.

She could no longer trust this man. He must have something up his sleeve which was devastating to

her.

“However, you have to abort your child in your belly. From now on, you can’t go anywhere anymore.

You can only stay put and stand by. If Clarissa needs your blood, you have to go to the hospital

immediately to donate your blood!” Original from NôvelDrama.Org.

As expected, his remaining words plunged her into the depths of hell instantly.

Adelaide widened her eyes incredulously, and tears broke free of her eyes as she gaped at Antonio

hopelessly.

“No way!”

“You don’t have a word in this!”

Antonio suddenly strangled her, “You can’t have this child no matter what!”

He made sure that there was no further room of discussion about this matter. Shortly after, Adelaide felt

her heart slowly wither away.

Just as Antonio was clutching Adelaide and was about to drag her to the hospital, a new voice sounded

out of nowhere, “Stop right there!”
