Chapter 9

Here it went again.

Chloe was framing her for something she didn’t do. AGAIN.

Back at Silver Blade Pack, Aurora suffered a lot because of Chloe’s smearing.

She just didn’t expect that Chloe would dare to do this in front of Lance and all the members of the Ever Moon Pack.

“What the hell?!”

Lance jumped out of his seat at once, looking enraged.

“Aurora did no such thing!” he snarled at Chloe, “Take your **d brooch and get the f**k out of here!”

Chloe took a quick step back, raising her voice and cried, “I know that you are an Alpha and she is a princess and you guys are powerful and everything…But that doesn’t mean that you have the right to insult me however you want! Your sister is a bully. Period!”

“WHAT? F**g ridiculous…Guards! Drag her out!” Lance snapped.

Aurora quickly raised a hand and stopped the soldiers,

Many eyes were on her, looking at her with accusing gazes. She could already hear the murmurs coming from

crowd:

“Why did that woman said? Princes Aurora smashed her gift? How could she?”

“It looks like that Alpha Lance’s long-lost sister isn’t a very nice person.”

“Too bad…the Everhart was a group of decent nobles with class. Yet now they have a spoiled brat. Under her influence, even Alpha Lance starts to pressure the commoners…

Aurora let out a sneer internally

She had to applause for Chloe and her c**gnes*s,

Chloe knew that tonight was a big night for her-it was her first appearance in front of the public.

If she left a horrible impression tonight, there was no way to salvage it in the future.

Lance could step out and defend her for sure. But that would only make things worse. People would be convinced that she was a spoiled b**h and nobody would take her seriously anymore.

What a vicious yet effective scheme.

“Relax, Lance.” She whispered to her brother. “I got this.”

Standing up, Aurora elegantly made her way toward Chloe.

“Are you accusing me of smashing this?” she asked.

Chloe gulped.

She was intimidated by Aurora’s aura internally. Yet her accusation was out there already. There was no way to take it back anymore.

She must carry on with her plan.

“Yes!” she raised her head and cried, “You might be a princess but you are also a bully!”

Aurora chuckled, her eyes freezing cold, “If I have indeed smashed it, my finger prints must be left on it. Let’s take this to the lab and see if there is any trace of my finger prints!”

Chloe rounded her eyes abruptly.

Wait…to the lab?!

She didn’t expect Aurora to go this far to prove her innocence!

“W-Wait!” Chloe cried out in panic, “This brooch is too expensive to be sent to the lab-

“Oh really? How much does it worth?” Aurora snorted.

Chloe’s mind was racing fast.

She bought this brooch on the street. It was worth 200 bucks top.

But she needed to make up a crazy figure…just to intimidate Aurora and the guests…

So she puffed out her chest and said in a loud voice:

“Listen up: this bracelet is designed by a world-famous jewelry designer. It is adorned with the finest j***ws. The retail price is 50 thousands!”

There was a short moment of silence.

Then suddenly, Aurora burst out laughing, her laughter full of sarcasm.

“50 thousands? Are you kidding me?” cried a lady among the crowd. “Even my hound dog’s leash worth more than that!”

Chloe’s face turned pale instantly.

She thought 50 thousands was a big enough figure!

Nevertheless, the most expensive jewelry that she owned was about that price!

Amid roars of laughter, Chloe shouted in panic:

“Wait! I got it wrong! It should be 100 thousands-no-200 thousands

“The brooch is gold-plated rather than pure gold, and the quality of the emerald is very poor. It’s worth 100 tops.” Aurora sneered, “Did you get ripped? Or are you making up random figures just to stop me from sending this to the lab?!”

Chloe’s breathings quickened.

No…she couldn’t let Aurora send this brooch to the lab…or they would find out that Aurora’s finger print was not on it and her lies would be exposed…

Chloe let out a short gasp abruptly and collapsed to the floor.

Coincidently, she was sitting right on top of the brooch..

Aurora’s face darkened.

She realized that Chloe was taking this chance to wipe out all the finger prints left on the brooch.

She looked over to the soldiers and motioned them to pull Chloe up.

Yet just then, a series of heavy footsteps approach. Damien pushed through the sea of people and arrived at the

He snarled and rushed to hold Chloe in his arms, “What’s going on? Are you alright?!”

Chloe buried her head into the hollow of his neck, her body twitching, “She…Aurora is torturing me again…Just like the old times!”

Damien snapped his head up glaring at Aurora and hissed:

“You haven’t changed at all Aurora…You are still so vicious and mean!”

Vicious and mean?

Aurora snorted internally and gave them a look of deep disgust.

“Hold on a second.” One of the ministers from Ever Moon Pack spoke up at this moment, bewildered. “Alpha Damien, do you know our princess?”

Before Damien got a chance to answer, Chloe beat him to it and cried:

“YES! She was Damien’s rejected mate! He kicked her out of Silver Blade Pack after I found her cheating on him with her guard! Wake up people. She is no princess. She is a shameless w**e!!!”
