Rosetta was deep in thoughts, she could still see skyler’s face in front of her eyes. His apology was genuine, she could see that but her mind wasn’t Letting her believe in it.

She wanted to stay with him but she can’t forget what he has done to her.

Right now she was in no condition to forgive him.

She sighed while wearing her hand gloves, she was waiting for her mom to arrive in the training area. She waited but Rose wasn’t coming.

Rosetta walked out of the hall to look for her mother. She saw her in the corridor with Damian.

Damian was holding Rose by waist and was looking at her like she is the only thing in this world. His eyes were filled with only love. Damian pecked her lips and Rose smiled.

“I’ll be in my office… Don’t be late. Work is boring without you.”

He said and Rose nodded with smile.

“Say something, I want to hear your melodious voice.”

He demanded.

“Damian Rosa is waiting for me… Let me go”

Rose said.

“Is that what you want to say?”

He pouted like a child making her chuckle.

Rose pecked his lips.

“I love you… Don’t worry, I’ll be back in no time…”

Damian Tilted his face and Rose kissed his cheek.

Pang of jealousy sparked in her heart when Rosetta saw how much her father Loves her mother.

‘Why can’t he love me like this’

She thought. She couldn’t understand how her parents managed to keep their relationship so young and passionate even after three kids and 25 years. They are like love birds, if something happens to one then another will die.

Rosetta turned around and walked back not wanting to disturb them. She silently sat on the chair thinking about her fucked up life.

She wanted to be happy with him but it seems to be difficult.

“What happened?… Why do you look so tired?”

Rose asked as she entered the hall and looked at Rosetta.

Rose sat beside her and patted her head.

“Rosa i am your mother… You can tell me anything, I will try to understand you… I am your mother and it’s my responsibility to protect you, mentally and physically…”

She assured.

“How did you two managed to keep your relationship alive?”

Rosetta sighed.

“It’s so difficult”

Rose smiled.

“It’s not hard…”

She said.

“Before entering in relationship and tangling yourself with someone, you should accept the fact that you have to do some sacrifices and take responsibilities… Life is not all about rainbows and sunshine… Life is hard, it will test you every second and you have to face it…”

“Why should I sacrifice or compromise?”

Rosetta asked.

“It’s not just about you Rosa… Both of you need to understand it. Relationship is two way road. You should understand your partner… And for your happiness little adjustment is necessary. We can’t get everything which we desire…”

Rose replied.

“I accepted your father even when he married me by using wrong way, I knew he is a bad man. He had past, he was womanizer. but when I met him, he changed for me. He tried to be a better man and that’s what he sacrificed for me. He changed his lifestyle for me…. And he loved me despite of my rude and cold Nature. I never talked to him warmly or never initiated anything romantic, still he didn’t give up. He ignored my imperfections. He didn’t care about my profession, my status or my nature. I was a killer still he fell for me..

And he was cruel still I loved him… Our relationship wasn’t perfect either, we did mistakes, we hurt each other, we cried but at the end we came together because we knew that we are in love… We forgive each other’s mistakes and never let it affect our life…”

She patted her back.

“I am not telling you to comprise with your happiness but if there is a gentle way to handle the situation then you shouldn’t torment yourself. Life is easy Rosa, we make it hard. If you love him then there no way you can run from the fact. Love is about acceptance, we love, we care and we forgive…”

Rosetta stayed silent, she was still in dilemma.

“Come… We are already late”

Rose said and she nodded.

After finishing her practice Rosetta went to the nearby park to spend some time alone.

‘should I forgive him?…’

She asked herself, trying to judge her thoughts about it.

Her heart was begging for it but brain wasn’t complying.

Rosetta sighed defeated, not getting any answer.

She stood up and started walking towards her car but halted in her place when she felt presence behind her.

She quickly turned around and gasped loudly when he stabbed the syringe in her neck. She couldn’t even react as it happened within seconds.

She clutched on her neck and tried to get in the car but he held her back.

“Enough”

She heard his faint voice as drug started taking over.

“I am tired of games… I am taking you with me, that’s it…”

Rosetta’s struggle died down as she fell limb in his arms. She tried to keep her eyes open but nothing helped, she couldn’t even scream.

He picked her up in bridal style and kissed her forehead.

“You are mine now”

He Smirked.
