Chapter 289 We Will Take This Gown
Caspian and Willow returned to Riverside Villa. In
the days following the reunion dinner, their lives were peaceful and carefree.
Every day, Caspian would pick up Willow
from work. They spent all their time together without anyone else disturbing them.
Lincoln had brought Bernard over to extend a personal apology. Caspian could not be bothered to get i
nvolved in the matter any further, so he instructed Lincoln to take care of things
himself.
One evening, as soon as Willow got off work, she approached Caspian, who was waiting for her. She s
aid in a mysterious tone, “Look who it is, hubby.”
Seated on the couch, Caspian lifted his eyes, asking, “Who did you bring over? Is it Zoey?”
He then spotted a stiff–looking Rebecca standing at the entrance.
“Nice to see you, Mr. Lynch. It’s been a while,” Rebecca greeted.
Caspian and Willow owned Starsphere Media, so naturally, Rebecca felt the need to be more
cautious around them.
“Why are you here in Southlake City?” Caspian asked, puzzled.
“Hubby, Southlake Corporation has been growing so much, but we don’t have a brand ambassador. I fi
gured we could hire Rebecca for that role,” Willow explained. “What do you
think?”
Apart from property development, Southlake Corporation was involved in numerous industries, includin
g the beauty and personal care industry.
Thus, they were in need of a brand ambassador. A good one would be highly beneficial to the
company.
Rebecca was one of the more popular celebrities in Diatoran, so she would undoubtedly boost the com
pany’s profile.
“Since you’ve made the decision, honey, I don’t have any objections,” Caspian replied with a smile.
“I love you, hubby!” Willow exclaimed as she threw her arms around Caspian and kissed him.
Seeing this, Rebecca felt envious and melancholic.
Caspian was a wonderful man. How great would it be if he had been hers!
Rebecca instantly blushed and felt embarrassed. She quietly lowered her head.
“That’s enough. We’re in public,” Caspian reminded Willow. “Did you bring Rebecca over just to sign he
r on as the brand ambassador?”
“Certainly not. We plan on making a trip to Sealand for a photoshoot. Since she’s going to become our
brand ambassador, we need promotional materials that feature her,” Willow said.
“Sealand?” Caspian repeated.
After pondering briefly, he chuckled and continued, “It’s just as well. The last time we decided to go on
a honeymoon, we didn’t get to enjoy ourselves much. Let’s make up for that with this trip to Sealand. W
e haven’t even taken our wedding photos yet. We can do that too!”
As they had gotten married in a bit of a rush, Caspian and Willow didn’t have time to do a pre- wedding
photoshoot.
They were so busy on the day of the wedding itself that they did not take many photos either. Caspian
had always felt bad about that.
Thus, he had been meaning to take Willow on a relaxing trip someday.
Meanwhile, Willow was tearing up.
She also felt sad that they never got to do a proper wedding photoshoot,
but she was surprised that Caspian remembered.
Willow had wanted to bring it up many times, but she had been too busy, so she ended up keeping her
regret to herself instead.
Yet, Caspian had brought it up himself today, and Willow’s heart became filled with warmth. With misty
eyes, she said, “You’re the best, hubby! I love
you so much!
“Okay, okay. Rebecca’s still here, you know. You sure you want to cry and embarrass yourself in front o
f her?” Caspian chuckled as he nudged Willow’s cheek.
Willow abruptly recalled that Rebecca was standing right
beside her. Instantly, she felt a wave of awkwardness.
On the other hand, Rebecca looked exasperated. She had been forced to witness the couple’s lovey–
dovey moment.
The next day, Caspian, Willow, and Rebecca set off for Sealand.
Sealand was located in thé southernmost region of Diatoran.
With its picturesque scenery and wonderful local produce, including all kinds of seafood, it was famous
for being a tourist destination.
Countless people flocked to Sealand every year for a vacation.
After more than two hours, the group arrived in Sealand.
Rebecca headed to the hotel to get some rest, while Caspian brought Willow to the
best and most luxurious bridal boutique in Sealand–Everlove Bridal Boutique.
The owner was a middle–aged woman who looked elegant and sophisticated.
“Hi, what can I do for you today?” she greeted warmly when Caspian and Willow came in.
Many of the customers who came to the bridal boutique would choose to
rent a wedding gown and return it once they no longer needed it. It was the more economical choice si
nce the bride would only wear the gown once.
However, in Caspian’s eyes, there was no difference between renting and buying.
“We’ll just look around first,” Caspian replied.
“Alright. Let me know if you need anything,” the owner said with a smile.
Caspian led Willow around the boutique.
Soon, Willow spotted a beautiful gown that was in a glass display of its own. It stood out from all the oth
er gowns.
In terms of design and tailoring, it looked like the best there was in the boutique too.
“This is the most spectacular gown in our boutique, Miss. You have excellent
taste. A famous designer personally designed this gown, and all of the embroidery was done by hand. It

Even though many customers had taken a liking to
this gown before, they all had to sigh and walk away when they heard the price.
Ever since the gown was made/it had only been rented out once.
“We’ll take this gown,” Caspian said casually without even checking the price first.
The owner eyed Caspian. He was not dressed like someone wealthy.
It was understandable, of course. Caspian did not care about what he wore.
“Huh? But the gown costs one million!” the boutique owner exclaimed.
Willow was stunned by the price of the wedding gown
No one would possibly pay that much for a wedding gown. It was not like they would wear it every day e
The owner was used to seeing shocked expressions like the one on Willow’s face.
Many other customers displayed similar reactions when they heard the price.
“Take the gown out and let my wife try it. We’ll buy this one,” Caspian instructed.
Startled, the owner took another look at Caspian. The clothes he wore probably cost less than a hundre

intention to buy it without even asking for the price first.
“Are you sure?” the owner checked.
