Chapter 290 Who Do You Think You Are

“Let’s not,” Willow dissuaded while shaking her head.

Though she really liked the wedding gown and could afford to buy it, it still seemed far too wasteful to b

uy such an expensive gown.

“Listen to me on this, honey. It’s worth spending a million dollars if it means making you happy!” Caspia

n declared.

“But

It went without saying that Willow knew money was not an issue for them anymore. The daily profits fro

m Southlake Corporation were enough to buy dozens of such gowns.

Still, she felt reluctant to spend so much money.

“We’ll do as I say and get this gown,” Caspian insisted. He did not give Willow the chance to protest

He was willing to spend any amount of money to make Willow happy.

Money was less important than happiness!

Willow finally nodded in agreement. Though she did think it was a waste of money, she felt happy too.

Which woman wouldn’t love a man who would spend so much money on her?

He doted on her so much that he did not even ask about the price before deciding to get the gown for h

er.

Willow felt warm and fuzzy inside as her love for Caspian blossomed.

Meanwhile, the boutique owner was shocked and envious. It was hard not to yearn for the love they ha

d.

“Well? Take the gown out,” Caspian reminded the owner.

While speaking, he brought out his Golden Dragon card to pay for the gown.

Just then, a man and a woman appeared in front of Caspian and Willow.

The woman cried out, “Darling, I love this one! It’s so pretty!”

She was dressed provocatively and had a lot of makeup on.

Meanwhile, the man wore a tight–

fitting outfit and a pair of loafers. Though his clothes were all branded, they did not aid him in giving off

a good impression.

“I love this gown so much, darling. Can you get it for me? I’m sure I’ll look so good in it!” the woman co

axed.

“Sure!” the man said with a haughty nod.

Then, he turned to the boutique owner and asked, “How much is it? We’ll take it!”

The owner was dumbfounded. It had been so long since someone asked her about this

gown yet it seemed to be a popular pick today.

Why were people fighting to buy it? Had there been a sudden influx of wealthy people in Sealand?

“I’m so sorry, but this couple here came first, and they want to buy the gown too…” the owner said apol

ogetically.

The man cast a derisive glance at Caspian.

How could a man dressed in cheap clothes have the nerve to try and snatch this gown from him?

“I doubt you have any money, punk. How’s this? I’ll give you 20 grand. You can rent any other gown. W

e’ll buy this one,” the man said scornfully to Caspian.

He took a stack of money out and tossed it at Caspian.

He figured that Caspian was just a loser who was trying to pretend to be rich..

The wedding gown was on display in the center of the bridal boutique, so it had to be extremely expens

ive.

The man figured 20 grand was enough to get Caspian marching out of the door right away.

Caspian smirked. Was there something wrong with this man?

Did the man think 20 grand was enough to shoo him away?

“We’re buying this gown. I’ll give you 50 grand. You can buy some other gown,” Caspian

retorted with a chuckle.

“Hah! Such arrogance!” The man scoffed.

He did not expect such arrogance from Caspian. Did he have a death wish?

“Do

you know who I am? How dare you try to buy the gown I have my eyes on? I’m Kristian Jennings, the s

on of the Jennings family of Sealand!” Kristian declared with a smug smile.

Upon hearing that, the boutique owner froze.

Everyone in Sealand knew the Jenningses. The family was the most prominent one in Sealand. No one

dared to offend them..

Kristian was a well–

known playboy who loved fooling around with women. Furthermore, he was infamously cruel and vindic

tive.

Anyone who offended him would face tragic consequences.

‘Sir, why don’t you buy a different gown? Mr. Jennings here is very powerful in Sealand. It’s best if you

don’t offend him the owner muttered.

“See? She knows what she’s talking about. You won’t be able to bear the consequences of offending m

e. Pick up the money and scram!” Kristian commanded haughtily.

“Hah Who do you think you are?” Caspian scoffed.

“You’re asking for it, punk! In that case, I’ll make you crawl out of there!” Kristian roared as he raised hi

s fist.

Alas, before he could even swing it, he felt a shooting pain coming from his face as he stumbled to the f

loor.

His nose was bent out of shape and bleeding profusely.

Everyone in the bridal boutique was thunderstruck.

“You’re the one who’ll be crawling out of here,” Caspian said coolly.

Then, he turned to Willow and said gently, “Honey, go and try the gown on. See if it fits.”

Willow nodded.

The boutique owner took the gown out of the display and led Willow to the dressing room.

Willow was unbothered by Kristian’s earlier threats. Many people had wanted to mess with them before

, but Caspian always handled the matter.

“You fucking bastard! How dare you hit me?” Kristian bellowed with rage as he got back on his

feet.

No one in the boutique dared to say a word.

They felt like fleeing the place. Who knew what kind of horrors would soon unfold?

The owner was also flustered. She would be in a lot of trouble if she somehow offended the

Jenningses.

On the other hand, Caspian ignored Kristian. He remained silent as he looked toward the dressing room

Soon, Willow came out in the wedding gown.

The shop assistant helped her straighten her hem.

With her elegant bearing and attractive figure, she looked like an angel!

Kristian was stupefied. Even though he had fooled around with his fair share of women in Sealand, all o

Caspian walked up to Willow and studied her carefully. She looked even more gorgeous than she did on Belonging to NôvelDrama.Org.

“You’re breathtakingly beautiful, Willow. I thought I was looking at an angel who descended from heaven

“What a sweet tongue you have!”

Willow covered her mouth and laughed. She enjoyed his flattery very much.

“I want the gown, darling. I’m sure I’ll look even prettier than her in that gown!” the woman beside Kristia

she went mad with jealousy.

She felt the urge to rush up to Willow and rip the gown off.

Kristian straightened up. After glancing at the woman beside him, he felt a little repulsed.

Initially, he thought the woman was fairly attractive, but now that he compared her to Willow, she was fa

“Get lost!” Kristian ordered as he slapped the woman

Clutching her face, the woman stared at Kristian in disbelief. “Darling, why did you hit me…

“Have you gone deaf? I told you to get lost!” Kristian roared.

Trembling in fear, the woman wailed and ran out of the bridal boutique. She dared not offend

Kristian.

Following that, Kristian approached Willow with a smile and offered, “Hey, babe. Why don’t you be my lo
