When feelings were bottled up for too long, their release could be overwhelming. The one who sought found complete satisfaction, while the one who was sought endured an indescribable struggle.

All through the night, Charles was there, soothing Noelle. Her sleepy mumblings only made him more determined not to let her go until she was completely worn out. Finally, he carried her to the bathroom for a relaxing bath.

There in the tub, Noelle leaned back, her eyes too heavy to keep open. However, Charles's hands, warm and teasing, moved across her back, stirring a fire within her. Noelle's eyes snapped open, and she caught his wandering hands. "Please, no more. I really can't continue."

With a laugh in his eyes, Charles could not resist squeezing Noelle's cheeks. "Noelle, you really need to work on your stamina!"

Noelle's eyes popped wide open, her confused face suddenly in Charles's view. She could not believe it when she saw Charles's eyes twinkling with laughter. His smile was so bright it was almost blinding. She put her hand up to shield her eyes, blocking his view. "It's not that I'm weak. You're just super strong!"

Noelle's cheeks turned pink. "I... Rowena said this is supposed to be fun, but it seems like you're the one having all the fun, and I'm just getting tired."

Hearing that, Charles gently moved Noelle's hand away from his face, raised an eyebrow, and asked, "Oh? Didn't you have fun too?" He looked at her so earnestly that Noelle felt a little guilty and shy, and she quickly looked away.

Charles gave a small smile, took Noelle's hand, and kissed it softly. "Go ahead and lie down. I'll help you clean up!" Noelle did as she was told, lying down with her hands on the edge of the tub and her chin resting on her arms.

Charles's fingers glided over her,

pinching gently. It was just the right touch to make Noelle let out a soft sigh. She shifted a little and cracked open her eyes. "I think I want to

sleep now."

"Don't sleep in the tub. You'll catch a cold!" Charles's voice was soft in her ear. However, Noelle was really too sleepy to keep her eyes open, and she fell asleep, all fuzzy-headed.

Charles stopped what he was doing, looking at Noelle looking so worn out, he shook his head and chuckled, but his eyes were full of fondness.

Charles reached out and lifted

Noelle from the bathtub. As he did,

the water from her soaked his

clothes. He smiled and sat heromet

the edge of the tub. Noelle blinked open her eyes, mumbled something softly, and then fell asleep again.

He dried her off with a towel, wrapped her up snugly, and then carried her to her bed. Noelle curled up in her usual spot as if she knew exactly where she was.

Charles smiled and gently touched her cheek, looking at her with soft eyes.

He stayed by her side for a moment, then went to take a shower. Afterward, feeling fresh, he watched Noelle sleep for a bit before heading to his study to finish up some work.

Ronald was nearly asleep too, but he had to report the day's events to Charles. He waited, trying to stay awake.

It took Charles two and a half hours

to finally finish everything up. Ronald sat up straight and started his report. Charles had had a busy day managing his many companies, and he could not be everywhere at once. Ronald was his right-hand man, always there to help.
