Chapter 113 - Back to New York part 5

Olivia POV

The ride to the airport was uneventful. But I can’t help but be annoyed with Alex. I know Raphael has to

put up with her because she is Gabriel’s mother but I don’t. She is trying to get what is mine.

I absolutely hate but guys and I have no intention of hiding it. Obviously, I don’t do or say anything in

front of the kids. But Alex is a bitch and drives me insane.

She sat next to Raphael in the car. Hell, I can’t really blame her for that as I and Maria are in the back

with the kids. But I can see Alex from time to time looking back and giving me a side glance.

Once we get to the airport Everyone goes into the plane and Alex sits right at the back near the

bedroom. As if that would stop us.

The flight was quiet and Raphael spent most of it working.

He thinks he was neglecting his business and the mafia stuff but he needed some time off. He needed

time with his kids. To just be a father. I have kept in touch with Joseph sorting out some of his business

when Joseph didn’t know what to do.

Raphael always kept on top of the emails doing as much as he could with the three kids demanding

attention.

Tim contacted me a couple of times about some financial issues that he couldn’t figure out and I helped

him.

Raphael doesn’t have to know what I was doing. I don’t want to make him feel bad about it. But I have

been holding my own.

Raphael told me about the new strip club and I wasn’t thrilled about it but he did the right thing.

Trafficking people is wrong and making them work in bad conditions is unacceptable. Raphael at least

now pays them good money and they don’t work in a precarious condition. And no sex involved. In the

matter of fact man or not allowed to even touch them.

Maria sits on the plane next to me and I can see she is scared again.

I try and get her to relax but it’s not working.

Raphael sits next to us with Mike while I hold on to Mel.

In the middle of the flight, we got the kids to sleep in the bedroom giving us time to sleep as well,

except for Raphael that was working all the way through.

Once we landed I can see Joseph waiting for us outside and a bunch of reporters and paparazzi. Here

we go. Smiles for the camera.

Once we leave the plane the photos start to be taken and I am holding baby Mel covering her face from

the spotlight. Raphael is holding baby Mike while he waves at the photographers. This kid is hilarious.

And Gabe is standing right next to Gabriel holding his hand.

This is the perfect photo of a family.

I see Raphael walking to Joseph and shaking his hand while I stand there smiling for the cameras and

answering some of their questions.

“Olivia. , when is the wedding?”

“We haven’t set a date yet” - I reply

“Olivia, Olivia, when can we expect another baby?” - another man asks

“We haven’t had that conversation yet”

“Olivia, here” - a blonde woman says

“Yes?”

“How are you feeling about Raphael having two other kids?”

“I love them all like my own” - I reply remembering the conversation we had about this kind of questions

and how I have to be careful replying so they don’t distort what I said.

One of the bodyguards approached me and whispered in my ear.

“Time to go Miss” - he says and I nod my head.

“Thank you all for your time” - I say walking towards the SUV that has an open door waiting for me.

I slip inside and place Mel in her car seat and not long after we were being driven away.

“Where Gabe?” - I ask Raphael

“She’s going to live in another building” - he replies

“I thought you wanted him close” - I say

“I do, but I can’t have you and Alex arguing all the time” - he says giving me a wary look.

“She needs to know her place” - I let out

“I don’t disagree love. But until you two can be civil to each other I can’t have them living here” - he

says and I take a deep breath.

“I am sorry” - I say

“For what?” - he asks wrapping his arms around my waist.

“You being away from Gabe” - I say

“This is my city, I will see him as much as I can” - he says and I nod hugging him back.
