Chapter 114 - The mole

Raphael POV

“I am sorry” - Olivia says and I am taken aback by it.

“For what?” - I ask her while I wrap my arms around her

“You being away from Gabe” - she lets out

“This is my city, I will see him as much as I can” - I tell her while Olivia wraps her arms around me.

“Are you glad to be back?” - she asks

“Yeah, you?” - I ask her in return

“I have to admit that I will miss the quiet and the swimming Poole. But I am glad to be back” - she says

and I place a soft kiss on her lips.

Time flies by when you’re having fun. That’s what people say. But hey I am having fun.

I missed the hectic life in New York. The meetings, the permits, dealing with people that thought they

could outsmart me. But what I missed the most was torturing people.

Yeah call me a monster but I did miss the feeling in my gut I when I hear someone begging for me to

end their life because they can’t handle anymore.

That’s what I have been doing to the french scum I have in my cells.

Every day I torture them enough for them to think they are going to die but I still leave them alive. Then

the doctor goes there and attends to their needs, they get food and water a couple of days later when

they start to feel better I torture them some more.

I have got some useful information. Finally. I know where their warehouse is. I know where their

meetings are held and because of that, I was managed to get surveillance and actually have a picture

of the cunt trying to destroy me and my family.

“Boss” - I hear Joseph calling when he opens the door to the office

“Yeah?” - I ask

“You should come and see this” - he says holding the door opened for me.

I walk towards him and we both go to the surveillance room.

I had new cameras installed in the new compound. Not even Olivia knows where this compound is.

The cameras are hidden and my soldiers have no idea we have hidden cameras. Because they think

that they will be the last thing to be installed while we placed some fake ones pretending to be some

sort of surveillance until we get the real deal.

I know we have someone from the inside helping the french and I had to go to this length to find out

who it is.

“What am I looking at?” - I ask while We both look at one of the screens.

“Here” - Joseph points at a man walking towards the cells.

“What the fuck, that’s not the doc” - I say

“Nope” - Joseph barks

The image I see is one of my men walking towards the medicine cabinet and grabbing some pain relief

from the doctor's office. After getting what he wanted he walks out of the office and towards the cell

injecting the pain relief in one of the men there.

I can see the face of satisfaction when it starts to kick in.

“When was this filmed?” - I ask

“Last night”

“Who seen it?”

“Us and Robert” - Joseph says

“Let’s go” - I say while I fold my sleeves to my elbows. This is going to be fun.

I walk towards the gaming room and I find some of my men sitting playing some games.

I and Joseph walk to the bar and I start looking around finding the man that is spying on me.

“What are you going to do?” - Joseph asks

“Follow my lead”

“Hello everyone” - I say and I can see all of their eyes on me.

“I would like to propose a toast” - and I can see them all lifting their glasses and cans while they all

stand up looking at me and Joseph.

“We have gathered enough information to get the french”

I can hear my man cheering and I notice that specific one just smiling but his eyes are betraying him.

His eyes are moving around trying to understand what is happening while everyone else is just

cheerful.

“We have enough information to end it all soon and get back to our lives”

Cheering kept sounding all around us and I can see the fucking traitor trying to get near the door.

“But there’s something else” - I say looking around - “We found out we have a mole and we are going

to deal with it” - I keep saying and all the noise dies down and they start looking at each other with

suspicion in their eyes

“Now, I am giving you two minutes to step forward and come with me without any problems” - I say not

looking at anyone in particular

All the man keep looking at each other without making any movements.

“I know who you are and you not coming forward will only make it worse for you”

“One minute” - Joseph says

“Boss” - one of the guys say

“Yes?”

“Who is it?” - he asks and I lock my eyes on Aaron.

I can see all of their heads turning towards him. Aaron tries to reach for the door but someone pulls him

by his hoodie and he falls flat on the floor.

I put my glass down and walk towards Aaron laying on the floor.

Once I reach where he is standing he is already on his feet but being held in place by two of my

guards.

“Boss I am sorry” - he says crying.

“You’re sorry for what?” - I asked tilting my head a little to the side

“I never meant to do this but they paid good money and...” - I cut him off

“So it was all for money hein?” - I say - “isn’t what I pay all of you enough?” - I ask generally seeing

smiles on their faces.

“Boss my mother is sick and I needed the money for treatment “ - he says

“And instead of asking me for the money you go to my enemies?” - I say holding him by his hair so he

can look at me.

I can see tears rolling down Aaron’s face and I feel nothing for him.

“Take him to the cell” - I say

“Let this be an example for all of you. I don’t take well betrayals and I definitely don’t take well people

that try and kill my family” - I say

I take their silence as respect and fear and I walk out of the room followed by Joseph and Robert.

“Check of what he said is true about his mother” - I say to Robert and he nods his head walking back

into the surveillance room.

“Get him ready for torture” - I say to Joseph and he nods walking to the cells while I walk back to my

office to call Olivia.

“Hey” - she says answering the phone.

“Don’t wait up for me” - I say Published by Nôv'elD/rama.Org.

“Why? What happened?” - Olivia asks

“Just some new information and I need to deal with it” - I say

“Okay, stay safe love” - Olivia says and I smile.

“I will, I love you” - I say

“I love you too” - Olivia replies before else end the phone call and I put my phone on my pocket and

walk towards the cell.

This is going to be fun.
