“What the fuck were you thinking of leaving Gabe alone?” - I shout at her

“I wasn’t” - she says and I let go of her when she starts crying.

“When will I see him?” - she asks and I shake my head

“Go have a shower and sober up and then we will talk” - I say and Alex walks to me and slaps my face.

Big mistake. Really big mistake.

I grab Alex my her arms and smash her against the wall. The head hits the wall and she moans in pain.

Her face goes pale as I can see fear appear in her eyes.

“I am sorry” - she says while tears rolling down her face.

“You are insane and that’s not good” - I tell her

“I am sorry please don’t hurt me” - she cries while my hand presses her body against the wall while I

grab her by her neck.

“How would you feel if anything had happened to Gabriel? What would you have said?” - I ask her with

anger taking over my judgment.

“I am sorry” - she cries

“You will be” - I tell her letting go of her while she collapses on her knees.

“Please” - she says and I couldn’t give a flying fuck at the moment for how guilty she is feeling. I need

her to understand how irresponsible this was. Not just for Gabe but herself as well.

I am letting my anger take over myself and I should explain to her. But I can’t right now. Not with how

worried I was for Gabe.

Someone could’ve kidnapped her. Made her hostage and demand something from us. They could’ve

raped and abused her. They could’ve destroyed the person she is.

She sobs uncontrollably and I help her get up.

“Go sober up” - I tell her and she starts trembling while she walks to her bedroom.

I take a deep breath while I sit on the sofa. My hands find their way to my hair while I brush it back with

my fingers. I sit back and cross my legs thinking of her punishment. One thing is for sure, Gabe will

never live with her ever again. He will be living with me under my supervision. She can visit as much as

she wants. That’s when I hear a loud noise and I stand up grabbing my gun.

What the fuck. Zane walks in with his gun as well and we both walk deeper into the flat. That’s when

we find Alex on the floor with her wrists bleeding.

What the fuck is with me and unstable woman.

“Call 911” - I say while I grab a towel and put pressure on her wrists.

“Come on Alex” - I say while I hear Zane giving the instructions to 911.

“Look at me” - I say and her eyes meet mine. I can see the life leaving her eyes.

“Come on Alex, you have to stay alive for Gabe” - I say and she smiles

“Tell him mommy loves him” - she says with a faint voice.

“You will be able to tell him yourself” - I tell her. She gets on my nerves but I wouldn’t kill her. Gabe

needs her.

“Hey, Hey eyes on me” - I say as her eyes start to close.

“Where the fuck is the ambulance?” - I ask Zane.

“They are in their way boss” - he says while he crosses his arms over his chest.

Alex closes her eyes.

Not long after the paramedics were walking into the bathroom but it was too late. I was holding her tight

against my chest.

For the first time with Alex, I felt bad about how I reacted with her.

She killed her self because of me. I should’ve been more patient with her.

“Sir we need to move her” - the paramedic says while I stand up.
