” How much longer do we need Aaron?” He asked as cleaned the sweat on his forehead with the back of his palm. He was more anxious than worried about Mia.
” That’s the fifth time Antonio. Look at the Screen and you will tell .” Aaron answered angrily, tired of answering the same questions over and over again.
” Can’t you answer without being sarcastic? You know how worried I am about Mia.” He bluttered, tired of hearing Aaron’s silly excuses.
” But you didn’t want to forgive her earlier on.” He started,
” I know. I was just upset with her.” He breathed before answering, not sure he was ready for this discussion.
” Okay…”
Aaron’s phone vibrates and Antiono feels relieved.
” It’s the securities.”
” Give me the update!”
” We have found her, but we can’t find the criminals.”
“Keep looking. We would be there soon.”
He endes the fall and turned to look at Antiono.
” They found the kidnappers, unfortunately they didn’t find them ”
” What do you mean by that?”
” Mia is safe but they can’t find the kidnappers.” Aaron Informs again.
” Drive faster. I want us to get there. I want to see Mia.”
” Calm down. You’re acting like a teenager.”
” Emma will be so glad. I will call her so she won’t get worried.”
He called her and inform her, the next call he receives as soon as he disconnected Emma’s call was that of his father.
“Hello father.”
“Antiono, I’ve seen the proposal and I must say it’s impressive. Your mum and I will be coming over.”
” Coming over? Is it necessary?”
” Your mum wants to see you. She misses you so much Antonio.”
“When is your flight scheduled for?”
” By 9am tommorow.”
” Is it not too soon father, you still have a bad health.”
” Don’t worry about me son, I will be Fine.”
” Okay father, I will be expecting a call from you by tommorow.”
He sighed as he ended the call, making
hissing sounds that irritated Aaron.
” Are they coming?”
” Yes they are.” He answered sadly.
Truth be told, he knew how his mother wanted him to get Married to Charlotte but these few days he spent with Mia made him realize how much he loved Mia but he knew it will be tough convincing his mother about his love for Mia especially when she finds out Mia already has a daughter.

” This is pure bullshit! I gave you just one task and you ruined it.”Charlotte yelled on top of her voice.
“You know this isn’t my fault at all?” Wilson defended.
“Here you go again, defending yourself. No matter what, you are guilty as charged.” She exposed.
“Stop it Charlotte! Not another insult from you .”He warned but she didn’t listen.
She was so stubborn.
” Are you threatening me? You know you’re nothing without my money?”
” Don’t bring Money Into this now, Charlotte. We are adults.”
” Stop it, Wilson. How could you employ someone so careless? This was our last shot and you ruined it.”
” You won’t blame him for that, Charlotte. He isn’t to be blamed.”
” Tell me why you think so. Was it my fault they were caught? Have you thought of the consequences if Antiono finds them.”

” You’re so useless. Just pray Mia doesn’t remember their faces. I’m sure Antiono won’t rest untill he finds them.”
” I still don’t understand why Antiono is so concerned about Mia. Was there anything going on between them that we don’t know about?”
She turned to look at him and was surprised that she hadn’t thought of the possibly that Mia and Antiono had something. That could be the reason why they were so connected, there was something going on between them.
” How about Mia’s daughter? Mia and I had no sexual relationship. You know I hated her so I opted for a sex until after marriage, relationship.”
” Is it possible the little girl is Antiono’s child?” She asked herself but quickly suppressed the thought.
It was possible, Antonio wasn’t someone who could have an external relationship outside, if it was true then his family must have known about it but then she remembered when his father was taken to the hospital, Antiono had brought the little girl again and introduced her to his Father.
In anger, she cursed herself for not staying back to know what they were saying. No wonder when Mia came to the hospital that day she was shocked to see Antiono. Those two were definitely hiding something.
” We need to conduct a DNA test, quickly.”
” How do we do that?”
” Get the girl, we just need to take her to the hospital then we bring her back before anyone notice.” She suggested.
” That’s a job for a fool. Don’t you know she will spill everything to get mother.”
” I know what I’m doing. Once we get everything then we can threaten her to keep shut or she looses her mum.”
“You’re so bad , Charlotte. That will give the child nightmares.”
” I’m desperate, and desperate times falls for desperate measures.”
Her phone rang and she answered after seeing it was Antiono’s mother.
” Get everything ready, I’m coming to the city by tommorow.”
” What for? Did Antiono send for you?”
” No, my dear. I just informed him about my coming. I also have to inform you since you’re going to be my daughter-in-law soon.”
” When will you be arriving so I can pick you up from the airport?”
” I don’t know, but I will send you the flight details soon.”
” I can’t wait to see you Mother, Antiono hasn’t being paying attention to me since he came here.”
“Don’t worry my dear. Once I arrive then I will make sure he obeys every of youey demands.” She assured her before ending the call
” Come soon old witch, you’re my pun to become a member of a wealthy family.” She whispered with an evil grin.
