“What is it now, Charlotte?”
” I want to see you, where are you?”
” I can’t tell you right now.”
” Tell me where you are or I’m going to report this attitude of yours to your mother.”
“Don’t throw threats at me. I will call you when I’m back.”
The call went dead.
“Damnit!” She yelled in anger.
” Don’t be like this now.” Wilson tried to calm him down but she hushed him.
“Do not dare touch me! I’m leaving.” She grabbed her bag and left immediately.
” She doesn’t seem to appreciate the time you spend with her.”
He turned to look at the lady dressed in a body clingy red gown wondering where she came out from.
Was she here all these while? He thought.
” Don’t stress yourself about it, she’s just going through emotional stress and that’s it.”
” Look at me Wilson and tell me whatever I said is a lie.”
” Let me be!”
” Look at my face
” What can I say Mabel! I’m tired of her behavior. But I’m a slave .”
” You think so? You made yourself such.”
” Let me inform you, once she gets married to Antiono then consider yourself worthless before her.”
” Don’t start now Mabel.”
” I didn’t do anything, remember she said she uses you for her body pleasure. Such boldness!”
Wilson kept mute.
” Don’t be decided, you can trust those rich ladies.”
” You’re one of them Mabel.”
” You have known me for years, you know what I can do.”
” Can I be left alone. I need to think please.”
” Whatever I’m saying is the truth. There’s no need to think about it.*
“Will you let me be?”
” Sure, if you say so.”
She bent low to kiss him before leaving, before that she had advised him to give her a call when he felt better.
He watched her leave and for the first time didn’t notice her curvature. She was Mabel, the same lady Mia had Caught him in bed when she came to San Francisco.
Mabel was a beautiful lady, wealthy and was physically attractive.
But as she left, he began to think about what she had said. Mabel was right after all, whatever she said was the plain truth.

They got to the location and found Mia on a stretcher, at first Antiono heart leap in fear because he thought something must have happened to her but when he saw her struggling with one of the nurses he knew she wasn’t dead like his mind had assumed.
He rushed to where she was and immediately hugged her, she was surprised to see him but she returned the hug. She was excited that he had resuced her,
” I was really worried you. I’m sorry for leaving.”
She said nothing as she hugged him tightly inhaling the sweet smell of his cologne. Then suddenly she remembered her daughter, she freed herself from him and ask,
” How is Ariel? Where is she?”
” Ariel is fine. Don’t worry about her. We would go see her together.” He assured her, patting her hair lovingly.
” We need to take her statements sir.” A man said, Antiono and Mia turned to see a Cop.
” Will she be able to take it another time. She’s stress and needs rest.”
” The statements today can be different from tommorow.”
He wanted to protest when Mai stopped him,
” I will give my statements, will I be able to go home after that?”
” Of course, Ma’am.”
The cop brought out a pen and a note pad from a Pocket inside his jacket, he requested for a chair which was brought for Mia in no time.
“Did you see them?”
” Yes…two of them but I don’t think they were the same men who brought me here.”
” How do you mean?”
” The same men who carried me in the office were huge, and had a strong cologne. I think they left after keeping me here.”
“Did you see their faces?”
“No not at all but I saw the faces of the two men who were with me in this warehouse.”
“Will you be able to describe them ma’am?”
“Yes of course.”
The Head cop called someone who came with another note pad and a pen. He gestured for her to proceed with the description and she did.
It took about 10 minutes, Antiono was already getting impatient and he didn’t hide it . He was worried that the Cops were taking the time he was supposed to spend with Mia. The head Cop noticed it and quickly summarized.
” We would call you by tommorow if you have anything. Will it be okay if we leave some securities in your house.”
“That’s not necessary.”
” It is, make sure you leave some securities. ”
Alright sir. Do have a nice day.”
” What was that for?” Mia asked as soon as the Cop Left.

” I mean the securities around my house. I don’t want that, I will be fine.”
” I know. It’s just part of the security requirements.”he defended.
” Really? Who will pay the bills?”
” Don’t worry about that. I will take care of that.”
” I suspect someone, do you have any suspect?”
” No I don’t.” She lied, how could she explain it was his wife to be that was trying to kill her.
” We suspect Wilson. Do you think he’s a prime suspect.”
Wilson?
She hadn’t thought of him, he was a suspect too but Charlotte had higher chances.
“I don’t know about Wilson but Who knows, No one can trusted.”
” We would solve the issue and find the real culprit. Don’t worry about it.”
” Can I go home now? I’m dead worried about Ariel.”
” Of course. I will drop you off ”
” No…it’s fine.”
” Will you punish me now? Please Mia.”
” Okay. You can .”
He smiled at her, took her palms and kissed both of them. She blushed at him and left with him to his car but this Car looked different than the one she had seen him with. As him he understood her,
” It’s not mine, It’s Aaron.”
