Vampire University

Chapter 4 Poison

Hailey’s Point of View

When I woke up, I immediately got out of bed.

When I came down, I saw that they were preparing what we were going to eat.

“Good morning.” I greet them.

“Good morning too.” They said at the same time.

We ate peacefully.

“Gosh! “I’m nervous.” Agatha said excitedly.

We went to our respective rooms to fix ourselves.

After I got dressed, I put on the gown given to me.

“I hope everything goes well.” I said before coming down.

“You’re beautiful.” Agatha said.

We went straight to the grand hall because that was where the party would be held.

I rolled my eyes. There are many different light effects scattered around.

I glanced at my gown, given to someone. My gown is red. while my eyes also have a red mascara.

“Their party is cool!” Kent said, amazingly.

It’s been great all around, but I’m still not losing the nervousness I’m feeling.

We looked for a vacant seat.

“Your hand is cold.” Agatha said.

President Demon approached us. He was wearing a black mascara suit over his black attire.

“You’re fascinating.” He said as he bit his lower lip.

“Now I’ll tell you the second rule.” He added

“When the day comes on Tuesday and Friday, don’t come out when it’s 9:00 p. m. in the evening. The days I said are called Deadly Nights.” He gave a long explanation.

“The Dangerous Hunter Gang is here.” He whispered in my ear.

I looked at the door of the grand hall where they were all staring.

I feel like tension filled the surroundings as they arrived.

My heartbeat suddenly quickened when the man in front of me looked at me.

My attention was drawn to the man upstairs.

When I looked closely, he was the old man guarding this university.

“I am Drake Sy. The Vice President of Vampire University. ” He introduced himself.

My jaw dropped as he removed his mask and his appearance gradually changed.

We were exposed to a man who looked like Headmaster Dracilus.

“Is this true? It can’t happen. ” Nadia asked, incredulously.

“The man who pretended to be a guard is the Vice President of this university.” I whispered.

Why does he need to pretend to be a guard?

“I thought he was just an ordinary guard.” Alejandra said, in disbelief.

“Nothing ordinary in this place.” I said softly.

We couldn’t continue our conversation because a man walked onto the stage.

“Let’s give him a warm round of applause. The headmaster, Mr. Dracilus Sy, and my brother too. ” Everyone applauded.

“Let’s start the party.” Vice president, Drake said.

I simply glanced at Drake, and I didn’t expect our gazes to meet.

I looked away because I couldn’t stare at him for long.

My hands were sweating and I felt even more nervous.

He looks at me as if he wants to kill me. Does he really want me to disappear?Ccontent © exclusive by Nô/vel(D)ra/ma.Org.

I also noticed that time seemed to be moving very fast. It seems like a while ago there was still light, but now it is all dark.

“Agatha, what day is it again today? ” I asked her.

“Friday.” I swallowed.

“Is there a problem?” She asked in surprise.

“N-nothing.” I stuttered in response.

I’m right. Something bad is going to happen today. In a few moments, someone handed all the students wine.

“Let’s have a toast.” Drake said.

The students raised the wines they were holding.

“Wait, there’s something wrong here.” I said while looking at the wine.

“Guys, don’t drink the wine.” I told them.

Kent was about to drink the wine, but I turned it down. So all the attention is on us now.

“Hailey! Why did you turn down the wine? ” Kent asked angrily.

“What is your problem?” Nadia asked.

I said calmly, “Listen to me even just now.”

“The wine is poisonous.” There was a look of shock on their faces.

“Are you already crazy?” One of the students asked.

I insisted, “I’m telling the truth and one more thing. I don’t care if you drink the wine, but my friends will drink it, so I can’t let them be poisoned. ”

“Don’t make a scene here.” Headmaster Dracilus joins the conversation.

I said, bravely, “If you don’t care, I’m different from you because I’m not a demon like you.”

“Can you prove what you’re saying?” He asked defiantly.

“Yes, look at the wine with the powder that has formed at the very bottom due to the poison that has been mixed.” My long litany

“Didn’t you think the powder was formed because it wasn’t very mixed yet?” I smiled.

“Come on, I’ve drunk a lot of wine, but not a single one has accumulated powder.” He was stunned by what I said.

“I’m not a fool to believe you.” I say emphatically.

“If you don’t want to believe me, why didn’t one of you drink the wine?” I said.

One student raised his hand.

“I’ll be the one to drink the wine.” I nodded.

As he drank the wine, I noticed that the color of his skin was changing.

“Look at me! I wasn’t poisoned by wine because everything you said was wrong. ” He said, arrogantly.

“One, two, three.” I think that they were amazed.

Everyone was shocked when the man suddenly fell down while shaking and foaming at the mouth.

“Who among us is wrong now?” Headmaster Dracilus applauded.

“You’re right, the wine is poisonous. You’re the only student who knew about my plan. ” He says.

“Deadly Night will continue on Tuesday.” He announced

He gave me a sharp look with a hint.

“You embarrassed me. You will pay for what you did. ” He whispered in my ear.

I didn’t notice that I was nervous because of what he said. I knew he would use that to make me even more afraid of him.

I don’t want to hurt my friends, so I will do everything just to keep them out of all danger. From what I did now, I knew I would be even more at risk.
